In a world that has decided that it's going to lose its mind, be more kind my friend, try to Be More Kind0 -
First of all, Hoppy Birdday Natty.
I'm not gonna be "in" for the next two weeks; Mary is just too much work for me to do more than S&S, and she's here til Wednesday afternoon next week, which will then give me the Thursday and Friday for a general major S&S + tidy before getting back on track the following Monday.
Basically, I have a "carpet" of newspaper throughout the bungalow, which I have to keep straightening because Mary trails one back leg and keeps ruffling it up; she also needs lifting outside for a comfort break and back in again roughly once an hour, plus supervising while she's out there so that she doesn't get in difficulties with that back leg of hers - which is all even more fun with all the snow; and of course she wants lots of cuddles - she's 15, and can't do a lot, so food and cuddles are her comfort in life.:o She eats three good meals a day!:D And, of course, there's the inevitable removing of wet newspaper and replacing with fresh on occasion.;) I don't begrudge her any of this - she's old, and can't help her problems - the amount of water she drinks, I suspect her kidneys aren't functioning as well as they once did - but something's gotta give so that I can devote her the time and attention she needs and deserves.:o
We did get a frog eaten yesterday though - Mr LW helped me have the saucepan cupboard out and give it a good clean and tidy. :A He is able to dismantle the interior rack, a task which is beyond my paws these days.:o
Daily pain-free vibes will, of course, be sent L-L's way, and I'll lurk and try and keep up with you folks as best I can.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
I'm in this week as it's half term here so I'm off with the girls for a few days this week.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY NATTY!!!
and thank you very much for the list Dusty - it really does spur me on.
I've done a bit of flying this morning already so I'll do a list, but then I'm having a few hours off as we've got my friend coming round with her two boys.

OK, so I feel like I've done a lot but not crossed much off yet. Oh well, I will plan to do a bit more later on and definately need to do a food inventory and meal plan to last us until Friday (payday)!
See you later x
ETA: Just read your post LW - sounds like a lot of work. She's lucky to have you looking after her so well.
ETA x 2: I did a massive declutter of DD2's bedroom yesterday and decluttered and rehomed far more than 60 items - can this be carried over to today for my 60 in 60?? LOL!0 -
Whooo.. seems like I've missed heaps while on my weekend away!
Will be attempting to keep up some order during the holidays, shall get boys to help.. that'll cheer them up! haha :rotfl:
Thanks for the lists Dusty & Happy Birthday to Natty x:j"There's a little witch in all of us"🔮🪬🧿DEBT FREE 06/2018Mrs SD’s Decluttering 2025 ⭐️ 🥇🥇🥇0 -

I am in - thanks for the lists Dusty and Natty. Time to get the Skint Ritz back on the straight and narrow now the House Invaders have all vacated

Have had snow falling here, it is not settling except on the cars, fine day I picked to start driving, but hey ho everyone is taking it easy on the roads so I don't look silly taking it uber safely today
Go to get started on my 60 in 60, although starting with a 10 in 10 as Skint Baby is snuffling away in her Moses basket and may start misogging at any moment, but 10 down will be better than nowt;)
Right off I go:jThe cold never bothered me anyway0 -
Whoops, sorry Natty, :bdaycake: Happy Birthday!!
Done all my dailies now, 1 typing job done and now DS saying hungry so better sort us out some lunch. After I think DS can see Star Wars (again) and I'll do some ironing at the same time.
Lame Wolf sorry Mary is such hard work for you. Thank goodness she's with you and you can care for her rather than just being put into kennels. If you were closer you'd be welcome to have Pip when we go away but I think from here to you is a tad too far don't you!Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
LW - just come in for the company. You are doing a fab job with Mary
Natty - many happy returns x
