She was sitting in the car going
    "How long til my ride?"
    "40 minutes"
"Will you tell me when its 39 minutes?"

Then she laughed for pretty much the whole hour of her ride.

Gotta love pony club. £12 for two one-hour lessons.

One of the instructors had a baby four weeks ago. She was back at work and so I got to push him round the field in his buggy.
  • Lovely. I adore pram pushing, even in the rain.
Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D

Quiet here today. Almost like people have lives.
    Today I am grateful for
    * a game of freestyle croquet with the two smallest
    * slash and burn in the garden...well slash anyway
    * DH is asleep on the sofa and hasn't fainted
    * a good drying day
    * a very large washing machine!

I loved the rally photo! And tales. Bless them both. Am feeling guilty about the industry going on elsewhere while I have frittered the day away.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

Stair rods can wait - unless there is a danger of tripping on loose carpet :)
