Glad he wasn't home too late.
Everyone else may be sleeping, but you aren't! Enjoy the peace and quiet while you can xxNST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Glad he was discharged earlier than you thought, I hope he is feeling much much better and takes the professionals and your advice on board. Am guessing a lazy day is on the cards for you all.

I am very grateful for the support, actually getting on here last night stopped me completely losing my marbles.
Unambitious day...trying not to think about the undone moderation.

I'm so glad he's home, Al - what a difficult situation you've been through
A very low key day is in order, from the sound of it. I'm glad coming on here helped - pop on again today :kisses3:

He got up and ate a hearty breakfast but the effort exhausted him and he has gone back to bed.
No medical indication of liver problems but he is very very yellow.
Still, looking on the bright side, he will be home to accept the delivery of new sofas tomorrow.0 -
I hope you managed to get some sleep too. I had my collapsing moment during the school hols but was definitely too poorly to have been at work for a day or two at least. However, I didn't have the stomach ulcer problem. My anaemia was caused by a combination of a genetic disposition towards it and a diet appallingly low in iron. Treatable easily with iron tablets in the first instance ( yuk) then when the levels went up a bit I went on to a liquid supplement which was slightly more palatable but less effective. Now I just have that occasionally but make sure that I have dark green veg most days and avoid my past habits of living on cheese sandwiches. But, as I say, I didn't have any added complications so I am no expert. Great that it is all being checked out though and a house husband, even if a bit wobbly, is always useful.
Squirrel xPaid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -

I'm glad its going okay so far today - if you take notice of an emergency from which you recover with no permanent effects, you're okay. A cousin of mine had a heart attack at age 39, and changed his life completely - country of residence, place of work, form of income, social life. A real wake up call.
I've just realised what the GOT books are :rotfl: :j2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
he'll need a month off to work his way through those Al, never mind a week!
Glad to hear that he is home and on the mend.
RE the moderation - I'm hoping you have gained time at work now that your exam classes have gone. Can you squeeze your planning/marking into this time this week so that you can use your time at home to catch up on the moderation?know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0
