Although I hope he is home soon, I also hope he is kept in hospital until they find the cause and can start dealing with it.
And sending you lots of hugs - do pamper yourself a bit too.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Poor old Mr Al. Luckily after the blood and fluids he will soon feel like a new man. Same thing happened to me a few years ago, I didn't notice that I was more and more exhausted because I was doing so much that I thought the tiredness was to be expected. Then ended up in a and e.... Frozen peas are stuffed full of iron. So liver with peanuts and broccoli for dinner for all of you every night for a while......
As long as there is no underlying cause, his recovery should be really quick.
Love to all,
Squirrel xPaid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -
Poor DH, but every cloud has a steaky lining
Hopefully he will discover a new found appreciation of going to the doctors before it comes to hospitalisation?
Just glad they caught it before something even worse transpired!0 -
Squirrel did you take a little time off to recover afterwards?
Lol at Steaky.
They *think* its a slowly bleeding stomach ulcer.
He thought to be out this evening but the third unit of blood was just started at two so I don't like the odds...
In moneysaving news...I left hospital so late they let me out of the car park for free.0
