    Sounds very exciting, I still look at Rightmove and we have been living in this house for 28 months and don't plan to move for a while, I tell myself I'm just looking for decorating ideas and to see if the house price are going up in the area

    All the best for 2015 to you and your family x

    Today I am grateful for
    * surviving 6 kids in the house aged 2-12
    * the consequent 2 hour clubbing nap
    * a lovely fire
    * puppylove asleep on my feet
    * my family.

    Wishing all MFWs a frugal and fabulous 2014 with love and humility.xxx

    Well this was last year.

    No kids in the house other than our own. Another lovely trip out with ponyplops. I drove past her field this morning where she was busy eating the muckheap. I wound down my window and said "Stop eating dirty straw you plank" and she did!!

    I guess the mortgage is lower, our pay and expenses are the same although we have saved loads shopping at L$dl.

    Reading MMM has made me rethink some things.

    Thankful that the family is well and happy.

    Happy New Year, both.

    Started well, I noticed DH was paying for Amazon prime which he had no idea about so cancelled it for a £79 refund.

    Happy New Year to you. Raising a cup of tea to financial independence this year!
    Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

    In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!
