Well today turned out better than it might have.

Planned to promenade the Plops first up but could we find the gate key?

Finally found it in DDs pocket and she had no idea how it got there?!

Also managed to collect 20 bales of straw and do some washing so not all bad.

    Thank you.

I worked like a dog last week to make sure I could have two weeks actually off.

I think people often forget that - just because school is shut - teachers are often still working in the holidays (my sister and her OH are teachers)

Enjoy your much deserved time off! x

  • Very well done on getting it all done. I have two sets of assessments still to grade but that will only take half a day. I will get in at seven on the first day back to plan the first day's lessons and then stay late on that day to plan the rest of the week. By such manoeuvres I can keep most of the holiday for myself.
Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D

    Well done Squirrel.

The up side and down side of being a practical subject (with somewhat militant technicians) is we are forced to plan a week in advance, so thats done too.

Have been stood up by green deal assessor woman.
