Yes - although I have taken a fairly blinkered approach to it to the detriment of some other things I guess. There are other, more financially sensible things that I could have done along the way, but I've felt the need to just tackle the mortgage - financially not necessarily the best approach but on a mental level for us as a family it is! :D Once it's out of the way I will look for a more 'rounded' approach to finances (I'm guilty of just what the people moaning about the mfw board said!!!:o:p My only (slight) defence is that I know this and I have my reasons:D)

Have a peaceful, restful Christmas hols xx

    all caught up.

I'm really sorry to read that school is proving to be such a grim experience for you. I sincerely hope the school kicked the pupil(s) involved in the attack all the way to next Tuesday. It seems like crippling marking/workload/post visitor 'you're all sh*t' mandate that have taken over in our place are a daily feature in your school life too. I don't know what the answer is, but like you I'm also pondering the switch to part time. Something has to give, before my health or sanity does. Sounds like you've reached a similarly low ebb.

The last thing you need on top of that is trying to keep the 'oversized children' in your life in line too.

Wish I could reach through the screen and give you the biggest hug. Make sure you take time to recharge over the hollibobs. Hope your first adventure in cooking Christmas lunch goes without event.

    God bless xx

P.S Had to laugh at your DD1's choice of halloween costume. B7?! That apple didn't fall far from the tree :D
