We're starting to get 'back to school' adverts already! :rotfl:0

Insanity!
I feel happier about them knowing Scotland go back early.0 -
Except that there are big displays of uniform under "Back to school" banners in supermarkets here in the south of England, which clearly aren't aimed at the Scottish market.
It's not just mad to irritate all kids and teachers everywhere. It's also mad to suppose that parents want to buy uniform now, when their rapidly growing kids aren't going to be wearing it for the next 6 weeks. Mine may no longer be the size they are now once we get to the beginning of Sept.
How was the play?Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Can't believe how fast this year is going, but on the plus side I'm sure I saw an advert for 3 shirts for £5! Is that a bargain or would they not last a week?Mortgage Apr 18 £417,894 BTL Mar 18 £162,857

The play was two hours looonnngg.
Whether the shirts fall apart depends on which child wears them.
DD2 never wears uniform out.
DD1 fights the dog in it so strangely it falls apart.

Well done. Massive achievement. :T:T:T
Never mind about everything else going to pot. There will be time to sort things out later when you've had some extra sleep and wind-down time.
