    Good Morning!
Funny thing is my mind is racing with shoulds and oughts.

Al, Monday is clearly going to be a 'have to' day (yet another one after a whole term of them and a hideous last week which sounds like it was full of them from get up time until bedtime)!

    Tuesday can be 'should' day.

Wednesday can be 'ought ' day.

Today and tomorrow are whatever you want them to be, but with you at the centre of them. Knock that guilt thing on the head and go play with PonyPlops x

Super day yesterday. Did very little.

Off to pizza express for Sunday lunch with vouchers.

Met a toad couple in the garden last night.

:T Excellent, glad to hear it was a good day!

We have a single toad under the dahlias ... am trying to introduce him to the small frog and birds spa (a "pond" so frugally made by Mr. Hbbb from a big plastic bowl sunk into the ground that calling it a pond sounds a tad pretentious ...!) trying to get single toad acquainted with it to see off some mozzie larvae and biting beasties ... lovely that you have two!

Enjoy your dinner today, glad you can have a day off cooking too! x

Sounds like just what you needed after all that marking.
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.
    :)
  • I need a washing line update - did it make it inside or is it still on the line?

I'm typing this whilst listening to a few rain drops :(

Glad to hear you have had a peaceful Saturday - no cooking today sounds like a plan. After Monday at school, does that mean you finished?

    Thanks Habi, Lydia and Tilly.

I was very lucky. When I got the washing in it was still clean and dry. When I rewashed the load that had been forgotten in the machine, nothing was mouldy.

    Made a schoolgirl error.
Went to lunch at pizza express and couldnt get vouchers up on phone so had to pay full price. D'oh.

Bought some glyphosate. Will it work on bindweed and brambles?

DH went out pony yomping. I put tons of clean washing away, cleaned loos and did more washing. DS has a lovely clean bed. The kids were fab in restaurant unlike the table next to us who swore every second word then tried to pull a scam to get out of paying, using their son with cerebral palsy as the reason they shouldnt pay and finally screaming at the manager.

    Classy.

So glad that sturdy washing line you bought is up to storing washing for days on end. Nice that you felt able to consumer test it in that way :)

Look forward to reading your summer hols updates now that the marking is done with, the school broken up and you have days of fun to look forward to.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!
