NSD yesterday, oh actually not quite as put a tenner towards a new rug for ponyplops.
Went to a lovely party yesterday.
Had the child from hell for a play this morning. I have never been so glad to see a child go home...the kind that thinks she is coming for a play with her friends' parents, not the actual friend. And breathe...
It will be a NSD today and I flogged a couple of small things on the bay of fleas.Home brew cost is now down to £1.27 a bottle.
Reading a lot of mrmoneymustache, which is most entertaining, with thanks I think to newgirly who I saw mention him.
Today I am grateful for
* childfromhell has gone home
* Might get a sleep this afternoon, really must stop doing that!!
* the fire is lit
* DB took DD out with ponyplops this morning
* I made yummy homemade pesto with cheap veggie oil (no difference to the taste), garlic, half a packet of flaked almonds and some aged Basil and Lemon. Came to the conclusion that pesto depends on basil and garlic for the flavour, not much else, since I substituted about a tablespoon of grated cheddar for parmesan or pecorino and it was just as good.

I have a few issues with that particular blog. It's like ERE, except he's full of himself0 -
Whats ERE? I dont agree with him on everything but it does make a person think. Especially someone with as many car troubles as me!0
