I'm really surprised how many people wash their towels after each use. How non-moneysaving is that when it's drying a clean body: water, electricity, washing powder and effort?!
I wash my usually once a week unless I forget! But I do live on my own and share my towels with no-one else. Would probably change hand towels more regularly if I had a family.0 -
Once a week here too for towels and daily for tea towels.

Once a week, although somehow it's always my responsibility to put them in the bin and wash them. So I did a little experiment to see if DH would take the hint. 7 weeks later he was still using the same bath-towel (dried on the heated towel rail afterwards); eventually I cracked and washed it. And still he didn't notice!Nelly's other Mr. Hyde0

I do them once a week too. There are only two of us, we have our own rail each in the bathroom for them to dry out after use. Hand towels are more often though, my OH washes his HUGE hands on them too :mad:0

Hand towels usually every couple of days, bath towel (dried between uses) changed every 4 to 5 days and I do a dedicated towel wash when I have a full load.My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead
