    I've been Money Tipped!
Saturday: dogs on a walk some where new (much nicer than the same old routes for them) then back to stack logs after dh has sawed them up into burnable lengths, hopefully getting as far as having a bonfire for the left over twigs etc and general tidy up. That wood will hopefully be a good month or so firewood when ready. The tree has been down eight months now.

We were hoping to sweep up the grit that's been down for snow and ice, but looks like that will be needed for a while longer.

Sunday is meant to be miserable, and it's been a long week so we'll probably relax a bit more inbetween the outside chores.
  • Friday evening - chill out :D

Saturday - haircut at 10am, treating myself to a new phone and then coffee up the town likely. OH out tomorrow night and was debating arranging something for myself to do too, but you know what? Stuff it! I'll have the house to myself :D

Sunday - a.m. potter (noisily!! ;)) about the house while OH suffers through his hangover. Afternoon pick up the girls then see if there's any possibility of getting them to do anything other than sit and watch tv (highly unlikely therefore pretty normal Sunday in that case!!)

And no, I don't feel like I'm missing out :)

  • Saturday we will spend the morning at the travel agents looking for honeymoon inspiration. The in the afternoon I will be making wedding bunting and the OH will be continuing his mission to re-landscape the bottom of the garden. We will also fit walking the dog in at sometime. Evening will be spent watching a movie on the sofa.
On Sunday I am going to a wedding fair with my Mum, Sister & MIL, OH will continue sorting out the garden with FIL, then have my Mum and Sister coming back for a big pulled pork feast of a dinner and to play with the puppy dog.

Our weekends at the moment seem to largely be filled with sorting out the house and trying to get organised for the wedding!

Not much, my OH is working lates today, Saturday and Sunday :( so will just be me and the littley. I have a few errands to run and a few bits and bobs to do. Sunday morning will do all my housework before OH has to go to work and may make a roast for baby and I but apart from that no plans at all :o with my OH's shifts we very rarely get a weekend or even 2 days off together. He was off yesterday but we didn't do much, weather was pretty awful so he watched baby while I cleaned out and rearranged the kitchen cupboards.

God what a sad life I lead :o

Doing some gardening if the weather holds.

Demonstrating at a local craft festival tomorrow.

Watching DS and team play a Cup rugby game on Sunday. (They're going to get gubbed but you've still got to go along to provide moral support, no?)

Takeaway on Sunday night, for a treat.

  • My husband and I are keen walkers, and are lucky to live in Yorkshire so not far to drive to beautiful places. We are currently doing walking on the Cleveland Way, and tend to do anything from 6-12 miles of walking nearly every saturday.

I work full time in a pressurised office in Leeds city centre, so to get out in the quiet, fresh air, lovely fields, woods, coastlines etc does me the world of good, brill for mind, body and soul! We take a sarnie, crisps and drink with us, so the only cost is the petrol to get there/back.

Some might think it's boring, but we love it!!

My weekend starts at 1200 today as im on half day so off to yard to meet vet. Horse having her vaccinations done and her teeth rasped and a bit of an MOT then nothing tonight.

Saturday at yard first thing to do horse, then ride and then home for a bit of house work and gardening. Back to yard at around 1600 to bed horse down for the night.

Saturday night off to a friends for dinner. She is awesome and is the best host so will be on the champagne as soon as we walk through the door and it seriously just does not stop flowing :D

Sunday will ride again in the morning and then go to parents for lunch then back to yard in the evening to bed horse down for the night.

Was going to have family over for Sunday lunch but my boiler packed up Tuesday and isnt getting fixed till Monday so going to my parents now.

Decide whether we are going to press ahead with our idea of having a new bedroom carpet fitted whilst DS is on a school trip and if so go order it. .

Sorry Spendless, but carpets in bathrooms aren't right !

But back to the topic in hand....

Tonight supposed to be going to a 30th in a golf club with my OH, I'm hoping to get out of it tho, had a heavy one last weekend and just wat to chill tonight!

Tomorrow, meeting my mate for a late lunch @ 3pm.

Sunday, hopefully make the gym and then head over to see my Dad, to give him a belated birthday present.

My thread earlier this week got me thinking about how I spend the weekend - do I make the most of it and how does it compare to others (AM I MISSING OUT!!!??? :rotfl:)

So, what are you up to this weekend? What plans do you have?

    xDx

Do you feel as though you are "missing out" ?

If not, then there is no problem. If so, then you need to look at what you think you are missing out on.

Posting this type of question can go one of two ways - either you get comfort from others who equally don't do much, or you can feel inadequate after reading tales of how people will be meeting friends and family and be having endless fun from endless exciting activities.

At the end of the day, everybody is different and as long as you are happy within yourself then it does not matter what other people are doing.

Ps - sorry to be so serious if this was just a light hearted post !
