Winter is my favourite time of year because as many weekends as possible are spent skiing/snowboarding. The summer is when we usually catch up on DIY and the like as neither of us are fans of hot weather. Had a few odd jobs that needed to be done today though so I'm restricted to one snow day this weekend!0

I went to the Natural History Museum with a MeetUp group (and the rest of London it would seem!!). Then off to the pub to watch the rugby and good chat with an Australian lady who has rekindled my desire to go travelling. I also had an interesting chat with a rather attractive Welshman.... I love the welsh accent even though I could hardly understand him at times!!
No plans for tomorrow... might pop round to see my brother and nephew (and SIL)Man plans and God laughs...Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.0 -
I had a lie in this morning so didn't get up til 10.45. Watched the end of Soccer AM, picked son up from station, went to feed Mum's cat as she (Mum, not cat) is on holiday, went to gym, came home for shower/hair and am now bl00dy babysitting my niece and nephew, on a Saturday night. FML.
Tomorrow I'm up early, off to Manchester for a free film, off to see mother-in-law, then home to pick son up from work to take back to Salford.
It'll be nice to get back to work on Monday for a rest *

Today we had a wonderful lie in (boyfriend has just got a new job where he no longer has to work weekends so this is new and lovely for us) then I went to my friends hen party whilst the boyfriend stayed home and played playstation. This evening we went to my boyfriends parents and cooked a sausage hotpot then came home and watched match of the day.
I am now catching up on forum activity whilst the boyfriend sleeps
Sunday we will probably have another lie inthen we have got to go change a DVD at HMV (wish me luck) then we haven't decided what we are doing during the day might find somewhere to go wander around like a fayre or country house if weather is ok, then it's back to the boyfriends parents for our usual Sunday dinner
I love my weekends these days, never used to because my boyfriend would have to work most weekends and I used to potter about by myself so since the New Year our weekends have been jam packed with fun stuffalthough it's bad in a way because I've gotten no housework done in ages! The place looks like a tip!

Friday morning was spent listing things on a local Free2go site. Friday afternoon, evening and yesterday morning were spent organising uplifts of things  All I will say is I will never ever again list things on there. What is it about the words "collection only cannot deliver" is so difficult to understand?
Yesterday afternoon I went riding with DD while DH stayed in the house for people to come to collect the things. Out for dinner last night then home for a game of trivial pursuit.
There is more people coming to collect stuff this morning. This afternoon we have friends coming over for a Sunday roast who have 2 week old twins so I'm looking forward to some baby snugglesNever look down on anyone unless you are bending to help them up.....0
