My MIL used to come and look after dd 2 days a week - I used to get up an hour early to clean the house those days - til i relaised it was never good enough and she'd re-do it. Then i started saving my mess and let her do it!!People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

My mum is like that. Fusses so much it's embarrassing. I try not to be like her although I do have tendencies, but it's based in insecurity and thinking people won;t like me.
But really, if people don't like me cos I haven;t dusted and don't have fruit tea, they probably aren't the sort of people I'll stay friends with anyway!
But I do find my mum's OTT fussing really embarrassing. I hate watching her be like it.:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

I never really notice when people's houses are untidy, but then when people come to mine I apologise for everything - 'Oh I'm so sorry that I haven't washed up that one mug on the side, everything's a mess!'.
I just can't help it!0 -
In the time it took you to write all that, you could've had the house sparkingly clean lol.0
