Argos "luxury" mattress

Thanks in advance for any replies - unsure of what is best to do.
I bought a mattress from Argos online, described as a "Silentnight Perfect Pockets Luxury Mattress", at half price from £579 down to £289, then I used a voucher code to get another £50 off - so total price £239 - bargain!
When it arrived today, the tag and the sewn on label describe it as a "Slentnight Pocket Essentials 1000", available elsewhere (eg Amazon and loads of other places) for £179. Clearly not the luxury mattress it was described as. I rang Argos to check if they'd sent the wrong mattress, but no, the product codes match and they've just decided to describe it as luxury on their website. A quick search for the name shows that no one else sells it as that, only Argos.
I know that I could simply use the Distance Selling Regulations to return it and order elsewhere, but my wife had to take a day off work today to get this delivered and now one of us will have to take a second day off work to order a replacement. If it were the case that they simply hadn't delivered it, I could claim for the cost of a day's wages. Is this the same?
Any other ideas?

Is the spec the same? In the case of mattresses, many retailers will sell the same model under a different name. (Edit: Yes, they are one and the same.)
Also, had the same model turned up and been labelled "luxury", would you have been happy with the item?0 -
There are many other instances of the same mattress being sold by a different model name. It allows the larger retailers to avoid price matching and they can sell it for what they want. Just remember nothing is ever half price, its all kidology.0

If they let you just send it back for a refund and buy elsewhere for cheaper. However for hygiene reasons they might not take it back if its open.Hi. hygiene reasons alone are not a good enough excuse to refuse returns, and AFAIK mattresses are not exempt from DSRs0 -
Some people say they are, others say they are not exempt.
As nearly always it's interpretation of law.
I'm now of the belief that they are NOT exempt, but the hard part is what the supplying company thinks.Helping the country to sleep better....ZZZzzzzzzz0 -
It is very common practice for certain bed companies to allow their products to be renamed by their larger resellers.... which is particularly useful if you use "you wont find our products cheaper elsewhere or we will refund double the difference" type marketing messages.
Silent Night as a company at the more budget end of the branded market is one company that frequently does allow this.
Luxury is unfortunately a relative term, compared to a $90 mattress it probably is luxury, compared to a $90,000 Vi Spring one it clearly wont be.
As you say, if you arent happy with it and ordered it online then return it under the DSR0
