Life's little coincidences

Well Ive followed this thread from the start and loved hearing about others big & little coindences, some are really astonishing, I find the coincidental dates and numbers especially fascinating! Anyway thought I would share mine, which happened today funnily enough, just a normal day I guess, but decided to take my DS( 6yrs) for a walk in the woods( such a lovely day and thought nice to get a bit of fresh air and that anyhoo, had a lovely walk in the woods, decided that we would have a walk through the graveyard( Ok sounds a bit weird taking a 6 yr old to a graveyard but we live in a village and opposite the primary school my son goes to is the village church and cemetry, and many of the local residents take their dogs for walks etc through there, my son found it especially interesting reading the different dates and pointing out very old headstones some of them daing back to 1898, so after 15 min of wandering around, I said to my DS OK thats the last one we are looking at thinking quitely to myself how weird it would be to find a name I'd recognise, when My DS calls out to me" mummy why is daddy's headstone here?" as u can imagine every hair on my body standing on end........... The headstone my son was looking at, Had the same First NAME, SECOND NAME and BEGINNING OF The surname as my HUSBAND's.......... needless to say we left in a hurry, how spooky is that!!!!

Well having some coincidences and thought of this thread.

Here goes. My Grandad and my Cousin died within two days of one another last September. Now my Gran is terribly lonely. We have bought a house and will be moving in all together.

Now two years ago my Gran got a letter from a lady saying that if my Gran and Grandad were ever thinking of selling their house this lady would like to be contacted. My Gran and Grandad put the letter away and never gave it another thought.

Fast forward two years when we're now trying to sell Gran's house. We are hunting high and low for this letter for months. My Gran is clearing out her drawers when she comes accross the letter from this lady. She says she doesn't know what made her clear out that paticular drawer.

Anyway my Dad gives the lady a ring who says she doesn't know what made her do it but she decided to drive up my Gran's street and saw the For Sale sign. The For Sale sign had gone up on Friday there. This lady also knew my Cousin because she volunteered at the same hospice.

Just another thing. Picked Dad up from work and we were going to my Uncle's. Instead Dad drove us by our new house that we're moving into soon and we saw the van that would be putting sold on our new house. This was heading in the direction of my Gran's and at the time we said maybe the man is going to put the For Sale sign up at Gran's house. Sure enough when we got there the For Sale sign was up.

So coincidences do happen.
