    Wow, you are an inspiration! Just a thought. If you are keeping your charity shop stuff in the car boot it will burn a bit more fuel, due to additional weight. :) would hate for you to be burning money by accident when you're doing so amazingly well :T

    Thanks. :D Never thought of that... :o Must take it back to cs asap-and if they still aren't taking stuff I'll find one that will. :)

    I couldn't sleep last night...:(
    so at silly 0' clock I got up :o ... and made some anzacs :)
    went back to bed, slept like a log and got up at half 7. I'm tired now.

    Been crunching some numbers today...
    Original amount borrowed £96,000 -October 2007, december 2012 amount owed £74,800
    Lightbulb moment was a bit slow for me-and even slower for Mr tc.
    At one point payments were behind :eek: So I took control of the mortgage and the Council Tax in 2009 and I told Mr tc how it was going to be (that makes me sound really bossy and I'm really not-just didn't want us all to end up homeless).
    Original mortgage free date was October 2028-this was normal term of mortgage-however, been overpaying quite regularly - we can overpay limitlessly (is that even a word? lol) so When I ring the lenders in march (for the MFI3-3) I'll ask them for a projection (I think that's what it's called). Hopefully I'll be able to report back some exciting news. :j

    and £20 into savings :D

    Just checked catalogue account statement. Apparently I owe £21.92 less than I thought. :T so the total i owed altogether was only £578.08 :)
    I've already paid £112 off the total this month so now I owe £466.08

    I hate odd figures so I've managed to scrape together and pay off a further £26.08 from the catalogue bill. So now I owe £440.
    It's going down slowly but surely. :D
