Hi all
New to this but want to say tattycath and all that I have found this thread most inspiring. I have starting saving all 20p coins in an old purse (£7.80 in first week) and everything less than 20p in an old tub (no idea at present what this sum comes to). I am on a DMP which means have to watch what I spend but need so many things doing in the house and also my son has proposed to his girlfriend (planning to wed in 2 years) so have decided that the 20p fund is going to be the wedding fund and the small change fund the repair fund, so would again like to thank you for inspriring me.:T
will keep you updated0 -
Well done on progress. That's quite a bit done, esp given that you are tired.

I've got a few items finishing today (18) 1 has bids and some of the others have watchers so fingers crossed. I have 2 items with bids altogether but the other one doesn't finish until tomorrow.
I'm still waiting for people to pay for 3 auctions that finished on the 18th feb!
Right off for a bath then out and about this morning.GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Just had to open 2 NPBs on ebay-looked at the feedback and it says they never pay.
Paid £10 off the mortgage today.
Sold just over £3 of stuff on ebay yesterday-out of small acorns do mighty oak trees grow.
3 Items finishing today-bids are at just over £2 so far (just on 1 thing, other 2 no bids yet but people are watching them). Fingers crossed watchers turn into bidders.GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Miss tc 2 is busy doing some washing-she's already done 2 loads and I can now just about see the top of the wash basket  I estimate that about 3 or 4 more loads should do it. - we have loads of washing detergent as I bought 6 bottles from am@zon about 3 weeks ago-we only opened the 2nd bottle yesterday.
so the first bottle lasted about 2 weeks (16 washes in a bottle approx) £21.60 for 6 bottles and free postage. It saves looking for offers art supermarket-it saves carting it home etc etc. Win-win. At the same time I got some fairy dishwasher tabs 80 for £12 and free postage.
Yesterday (from the local butchers) I got 2 trays of chicken fillets, 2 trays of sausages, 1 tray of minced beef and 1 tray of boneless pork slices for £20 and 4 rib eye steaks for a tenner-should last us a couple of weeks at least.
I love this :money:GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Gosh Tattycath
You really did get some bargains. I did some gardening yesterday and found what looked like 2 old coins (think they are a 10p and 2p which have gone rusty and got caught in the mower at sometime giving them an aged rugged look!) will have to clean them off but not holding out for much luck in that they are old roman coins that are worth a fortune!!!!!! Still they can go into the house repair fund. Thinking of digging big hole in back garden to see if there is any oil next - ha ha.0 -

It all helps.

Well, the week has got off to a not so good start/
just been told that work are cutting hours.
Job safe (at the moment) but less hours-not sure what the exact deal is yet, apart from the inevitable cut in wages.
I'll have to think of more ways of raising the money needed to sort out debt busting-or more to the point mortgage busting.
Right, off for a bath and then need to start ebaying in earnest.GE 36 *MFD may 2043
