    Been busy with work.
Sold a couple of items yesterday and have bids on 9 more :)
Also helps with de-cluttering as I now have a couple of things to post out :)
Not managed any more overpayments on mortgage as yet. Hope to rectify this at the weekend. :)
Lovely DD managed to go over her phone by about £20.
So a phone call to EE amd I think we're sorted-she's barred from any interactive services and she has to either pay or work off her debt.

Hi Dreaming, thanks for stopping by. :)
We have tonnes of stuff to get rid of. I'm of the mind set that everything (excess to requirements) must go and the more cash I can recover on the way the better.
Some of the mortgage overpayments are from the 2 council tax free months (we pay ours over 10 months), some are from ebay sales and being more frugal. :)

  • Our council payments are over 10 months as well, I have the mantra that less stuff means less cleaning , I'm ocd about the amount of stuff we have, if we dont use it we dont need it, clothes and items we dont need a lot of as it just means more washing.

My daughter has a habit of trying on different things and putting them all in thedirty washing so I seem to be washing all the time, so Ive told her not to do that anymore, shes only 6!

But because I'm on the ball with clearing stuff out means less stuff to sell!

To be honest my DH and I are as bad as each other. :o
I'm now on a mission to de-junk the house asap-though I can't bear the thought of just getting rid of stuff. I want to get as much money as possible so I can kill 3 birds with 1 stone- De-junk and reduce bills and save some money as well.
I've challenged myself to save 3K this year but to be honest I'll be happy if I manage to save 2k or even 1 1/2 k-that said, I am aiming for 3k. :)

  • Aiming for something is always better than aiming for nothing!

Once you start clearing, you will notice such an improvement , life is much simpler without all the clutter and if you can get some money too all the better x
