Another £24 off the cat this morning. Need to check my statements. They work out what you owe and include all the interest in the total-even though you don't pay the interest if you pay it off early enough. I'm hoping I've overestimated what I owe. fingers crossed.
Paid another £15 off the mortgage-pleased to see I'm finally over the 10% mark for the mortgage target :)

Need some new drawers in my bedroom as mine are broken :(
To be fair i've needed new drawers for about 3 months...Good friends of ours have 'thrown' some out. They are in excellent condition and they said I can have them for nothing. So I'm a happy bunny now.
    out- broken drawers
in - new to me nice free drawers.
They don't match anything but at least they're not broken. :D

Well done on the listings! Although it's annoying to have so much stuff (I know that very well!) at least you have lots of earning potential there to keep the funds trickling in to help you achieve your targets!

That's nice about the chest of drawers too :)

Thanks jwil. Yes, I'm hoping to achieve some financial reward for my efforts and a clutter/hoard free house. :)
I actually took some stuff to the charity shop today...but had to bring it home as they aren't accepting donations at the moment. :( I'll ring them in a couple of weeks and see if they are accepting stuff again. I've left it in DHs car boot-it's not coming back in the house-no matter what!!
Managed to get up to 50 listings on ebay now-just hope I get some bids. :)

    Hi Brizzle.
    Thanks for stopping by. :)
I''ve been meaning to start a diary for ages but ummmed and aahed about it and never got round to it. :o So, I decided not to put it off any longer and I've noticed it's great for motivation as I can see any progress made etc - I've already doubled my efforts on the mortgage overpayments since starting my diary at beginning of Feb. :D

Yeah I agree...I used to lurk but it's the regular (ish) ( in my case) posting on a diary and all the jolly supportive folks on here that makes me try harder. Particularly as my OH is sometimes not as encouraging of my MSE ways as I'd like...he has a more direct approach..which is just to spend less on everything...but sometimes that means that life is no fun or we let people down. So..I prefer a more variable approach...but anyway I find that everyone on here is very supportive and it's a great great site. Bah to FB..can't be ar&ed with that..I either see people in RL or I don't IMO!! But MSE is different...I think it's also because debt is so stressful and takes over your life...so posting and sharing and supporting and being supported eases the stress...

Oops I have hijacked your diary!!!

I will indeed be watching this space!!:rotfl:
