  • Hi Everyone.

Hugs to those on cd1/cd2 and also to ejecoms.

Not much going on here really, no idea if or when I ovulated- I think im going to be uncertain for a while- but am going to try my best to stick to my original plan of ntnp until December and then from then I will start tracking my cycle more. I did order some pregnancy tests on Amazon though as they are much cheaper than poundland!!
  • Hello all

Thanks MrsTM for continuing to do such a fab job with the lists :) you are a star! Xxx good luck with the weight loss. I was doing the 5:2 but might stop now as there was an article in glamour magazine this month saying it can affect fertility.

We're still in vegas having an amazing time. I'm currently in the 2ww but have no idea what dpo I am as have actively ignored tracking this month and am trying the so called 'miracle' relax method. I've been a little down today as there was a gorgeous little baby in the pool today which I couldn't stop staring at :o I'm so broody I could burst! Currently at 1 year TTC :o

Welcome to all the newbies  and so sorry to see the returning ladies xxx hope that all of your stays are short and sweet xxxx

Gelly massive hugs for you Hun xxx

Going back to my doctors next week to push forward on more TTC tests :o xxx

  • Ladies, I can't believe I'm even posting this as it seems so ridiculous. I'm two days late. I've had terrible cramps for the last four days or so, I thought AF was going to turn up early on Friday but there is still no sign of her. I've had no spotting at all. My LP is always 13 days, 14 at most, regardless of how late in my cycle I ovulate. It's now CD16.

I'm not 100% sure I did ovulate when I thought I did but even not, why would I be getting AF cramps now? Oh dear, I've started to hope. That's never good.

Really don't want to fork out about €20 for a test but not sure I can hold out till I get home tomorrow.
  • Angel exciting times, if it were me I would have to test.

Angel, it depends on your finances! If you can afford it, test, if you can't (or don't want to waste the money) wait until you get home! I would wait, but that's just me. A true positive won't go away before you get home. :)

  • Clever (sorry for shortening your name- feel free to call me tcd!) I have told quite a few people now as I was driving myself to distraction. My Mum knows and it took a long time for her to understand what I was going through. Her initial response was the dreaded 'relax' as the no nonsense nurse in her took over. It wasn't until I snapped and had a massive row with her about how it felt that she grasped the impact it was having on us. She's still occasionally insensitive (She knows she'll be a Nan soon as I will get pregnant- not bloody likely by ourselves and though I know IVF is the only way I hate the idea.) but it's far better for me that she knows than doesn't. I suppose it's how you think your mum will support you and if she'll give you the support you need. It's taken me a will to drill into my mum what I need and we're still not totally there! I have a three friends who know. One who has her own ttc troubles, one who 'wouldn't be bothered if she was in my position' (nearly walloped her and no longer talk about it with her) and another who isn't looking to have kids but lets me rant and then gets me drunk. A couple of managers in work know as I've been off with depression relating to infertility and other stuff.

Basically if you can get the support you need then share. :)

Thanks tcd (no I don't mind if you shorten my name!)
I've decided to tell my mum at some point if it comes up and if the moment is right. She will be supportive but I don't want her to be worried about me and, to be honest, I don't want constant questions about it.

Plucked up the courage and phoned the doc to make an initial appointment. I was really nervous for some reason! When I think of how much you and other ttc ers have been through, I know it's silly. If there's something wrong I'd rather know now rather than keep wondering.
  • Gave in and tested, purely to know whether I could take some ibuprofen or not. BFN (of course). I have no idea what's going on with my stupid body :(
