Personally I wouldn't have thought 4 tablets are going to make a massive difference so try not to worry and enjoy your break :j

I haven't bought a thing. The reason being, that having been trying forever, looking at baby stuff makes me sad and I'd hate to have a reminder around.

I hope it doesn't take long for you, but when you do get pregnant you'll have 9 months to buy the stuff you need.

I'm always finding things that I would love to buy for a little one but couldn't take seeing or knowing its around without a little baby to give it too. Don't stop me looking though! :D

Lol at the big jugs part mouse I hate auto correct grrr

I also have to say if i could turn back time I would err on the side of not buying anything at least not before a successful scan. When I got my first bfp I bought a load of maternity clothes on eBay and signed up to everything going. Fast forward a week and I was taking delivery of them whilst going through my mc and now they're sat in my spare room as a constant reminder.

I'm also still being baby bombed by some of the things I signed up for, my particular favourite about a week ago was "nutrition tips for your 2 week old" grrrr I'm just glad I never went so far as buying baby stuff as that would have been so heartbreaking

I hope that all of you just starting out on your journeys have a beautifully smooth easy journey and never have to experience any of the heartbreak ttc can cause but without meaning to sound like a negative nelly I would definitely wait before you buy stuff.

    Hugs to all x
  • I also don't buy things now, I did buy a couple of things before when I finally fell but as I sadly lost it I daren't buy anything again in case I hex things.

It's so tough ttc isn't it and people around you just don't get it. I know I've only just rejoined the world of ttc but already it's driving me crazy. Hubby has told me off a couple of times he worries that I get my hopes up so easily and then sees how crap I handle it when I'm not pg but determined not to get myself too stressed by it

It's good to have somewhere to share all this with you all seem really close which is a sign you have also been wanting to be mums for a long time :( hope it happens for us all x

I've just been genuinely shocked by emmerdale, there's a very good chance I need to get out more.
  • I agree with others, no plans to buy anything unless we are lucky and probably would only be after 12wks if we were. Not been trying long but am a terrible worrier so already thinking that it won't happen!

Disney Pluto sure you asked about tablets to stop af a few pages back? I took them last yr when we got married, worked well only difference from recollection was that next af came really early and bit heavier.
