Getting older truly does suck. I had a bit of a meltdown when I was 30. I was truly dreading that birthday, everyone thought it was funny but I just couldn't get across how bad I felt about it. I don't care about looks or anything like that (tbh I still look about 16 - that's not boasting, it's a PITA, I still get ID'd for lottery tickets lol). I just couldn't believe I was going to be 30 and still not pg. I just felt sick at the thought of being 30, I'm not sure I've ever got over it!

That was nearly 5 years ago and it's just got worse since then.

Hi all,

I would like to join the group. I have been reading the thread for a while and with AF's arrival this morning felt the time was right to join (does that mean I'm CD1 - trying to learn the acronyms).
I'm 34 and we have been trying since January this year.
It's been lovely and uplifting to read all the posts and about the BFPs.

As everyone is talking age I have to admit to being 40!! I'll be 41 in four weeks. I'm starting to feel positively ancient now.

Morning ladies - massive congratulations to Claire and all the other ladies who have had their BFP's this month - what a bumper July and here's to many more!!! :beer:

Am hoping you might be able to help me. Last cycle was just 15 days and AF arrived on Fri night/Sat morning but it was pretty light until Mon and then vanished again - so I'm now on CD6.

CBFM hasn't yet asked me to test (normally CD8) so I started using the IC OPK's again yesterday - very faint line yesterday but this morning, I had an almost same strength second line on the OPK - so I class that as a positive and lots of CM yesterday. FF says I'm "at most fertile" at the moment so hopefully we can work through the heat and DTD lots but, have any you had anything like this happen before? It seems ridiculously early in this cycle.

If AF hadn't arrived at the weekend, I'd be on CD21 today.

I do wonder if my short cycle with AF arriving on day 16 was caused by some illness last week - had the most upset stomach on Tues & Weds but pretty back to normal by Thurs.

Any ideas ladies?
