Samtoby - I had a faint positive like that at 13dpo and have poas everyday since and the lines have been getting darker. Its only now that I am 20dpo that the second line is as dark as the control line.

    Congratulations:beer:
Ah thanks. Was it on a First Response Early Pregnancy test? I have literally spent hours looking up results on these and it looks like any kind of line coming up means that there is 'some' HCG. I am still looking at the pictures and wondering. :o

Something strange has happened today though. I was brushing my teeth and I gagged when I put the tooth brush near the back of my mouth which doesn't normally happen. It might just be me though.

I just found out that an ex work friend of DHs has died he's about our age with 2 kids. We don't know why yet. His friend just rang me and DH is out... So ill have to tell him later. JC.. Then I just got a peak on the cbfm... Trying to get selfish thoughts out of my head right now.

Sorry for this sad news. Hugs to you and DH. :(

Oh for goodness sake. An HPT is not an opk. The lines do not have to be equally dark for it to be positive. It just has to be pink (or blue depending on the test) and visible to the eye without squinting. Both of which your test is. If you need further reassurance do a digi, but you ARE pregnant. Now relax and do the pregnancy dance (similar to a goal celebration) and stop worrying about how dark lines are. Its irrelevant.:rotfl:

It's natural that you'd worry but these sticks don't predict miscarriage. They just tell you if there's hcg in your system. IIRC you're still quite early on so it will be quite light.

As an aside, there are several ladies in here, myself included, who'd love to see a line like that on a test so please try to focus on how lucky you are, rather on what might happen.

I'm not trying to tell you off or asking you to go away, it's my rather blunt way of trying to reassure you. Blame it on the Scottishness.

    Congrats Teamlowe and Samtoby :j

Sorry for not posting recently have been reading the posts though.

What a rubbish day weatherwise! Looking forward to nicer weather tomorrow and taking OH's daughter out for the day :D

Mooncup sounds interesting heard about it a couple of years ago. Just had a look on their website might get one and start trying as beats using tampons/pads!

AFM - AF is supposed to be due on the 3rd June, have starting getting spots last day or too and bloated last night. Have a feeling that AF will show up, trying to take my mind off it by doing crafty stuff instead. Hugs to all that need them.

    Congrats Sam!! :j:j

Hugs to claire and your DH :(

AFM - I have that Friday feeling today as I took tomorrow off, it is DH last weekend off work following his operation. The weather isn't predicted to be too bad so hopefully AF will !!!!!! off quick-sharp and we can have a good weekend!

I think he was a bit shocked that I got a grump on when we got no BFP this month and after a month of being somewhat resilient to bd 'because we need to' he has agreed to dtd when he is told to this month. Cracked out the CBFM my friend gifted to me and we will see what that has to offer this month! He is a shift worker though and I just know it will offer peaks at the worst possible times!
