Just seen that Fertility Friend are doing their membership discount again.
Just liked their Facebook page and bought one year membership for £17. I'm tempted to poas tomorrow morning and hopefully find it's £17 wasted.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0 -
Congrats Samtoby! :T xxx0

angeltreats have you been taking your temps at the same time? Mine are all over the place before ov but quite consistent after.
Sorry, I missed this yesterday. Yes I do it at 6:10am every morning. Even when I'm feeling the worse for wear from the night before (just go straight back to sleep afterwards). I've discarded a few of the really high ones this month but it still looks very weird. Honestly I can't understand it at all. I've just set it to go by the CBFM this month.

My normal coverline is about 97.3-97.5.0 -
As for telling work, my immediate line manager knows that I'm having some lady problems (it's a woman) and then my Head knows that I had an hour off for a hospital appointment. I would say investigations but I've got 3 appointments in the space of 5 days so I really don't think I'm going to get away with that and if they ask for letters etc they all say infertility on the top. I might phone the hospital and ask them to send me an appt card which just says gynae on. Also, it's not easy to cover me as supply usually comes for the day/half day but mine is only an hour at tops :S DH has gone into work today to tell his boss as he said he can't keep telling them I have hospital appointments... think he was a bit nervous.
Becca, my colleague copied the letters then tipexed out the consultant, clinic and hospital name, then copied them again, so that the school knew she had legitimate appointments but not what for. The school would generally cover her with TAs or our phase leader if it was only an hour's absence. Otherwise they'd get a half day of supply.
When it came to IVF, she told the HT upfront who was v good about it.0 -
Alice I think that's what I'm going to have to do, I've managed to swap my ppa from thurs to weds to cover my hsg but Ill have to cover my scans with TA. Hopefully should only be this month then a few next and then it's holidays. If this doesn't work I'll have to be up front about iui etc. It's just so awkward!!!First baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! I hate it when you go to see an old classic band which has been knocking around for decades and they use it to launch some new album you've never heard"Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
Ah the most dreaded words at a concert- 'And now we're going to play some new material'... noooooo!!!
Glad you had fun though ttc39.
AF is on her way into town, spotting this morning and the cramps are starting to set in. Feel OK about it, even though I obviously hope I'm going to get a BFP every month I've kind of accepted that it isn't going to happen without help so it's not a surprise when AF arrives and I'm starting to take it in my stride. That's not to say I'm not due a massive meltdown some point soon!
The silly thing is that I've been putting off buying a mooncup for the best part of 6 months as it'll *obviously* be a waste of money... but I've easily spent twice the cost of one on bl00dy tampax in the time I've been putting it off!Going to order one this month so I can get used to it by the time I go on holiday (which doing some quick calculations it looks like it'll arrive in the 2nd week
) so I'll feel a lot more secure getting in the pool!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
There are so many Kajungas on here I'm surprised this hasn't been picked up by my work filter
Congrats Sam!0 -
