    Thanks claire16c

I must admit, I went down the route of the CBFM as I thought it was "the best thing" to do - but aside from peeing on expensive sticks every morning, it's not giving me a great deal of confidence despite being rather excited by it first of all.

I had a couple of days of EWCM around CD9 (ish) but as there was no peak, I guessed that I didn't OV.

So can any of you lovely ladies tell me how/when to temp or point me in the direction of a thread that tells me what to do and what the best thermometer is?

Gelly don't panic that it means you've only ov once, I've read tons of google stories of people getting pg with no peaks. So if I were you I'd temp at the same time.

Becca I'd tell them you have some hospital appts and say you need cover. I know it must be a nightmare being a teacher in this situation as in most other jobs they don't need a replacement! But if they think you're ill there's not much they can do plus I don't think you need to say what it's for - I'd say you are having some investigations done that you'd rather not go into. Then they'll prob be more sympathetic if they think its something bad?

Just any cheap digital that has at least one decimal point. You'll find one for under a fiver at Amazon.

Part Mouse - I swear I'm not hired by the company or anything but honestly i think it's worth a try, I only started taking it because I'd read that it helps you to lose weight. Maybe only take one a day at first if you're concerned about taking too much? I did that for the first cycle and then was amazed by the results enough to take it twice a day for the next two :) x

Oh. My. God. How awful! That poor little boy, hope the mother/parents are jailed for such cruelty and he goes to a loving home. :(:(:(

Sadly, the situation in China means that the penalties for the parents if they'd kept him would have been much higher than any they'd receive for abandoning him - it's likely he'd have been killed. Very sad situation.

I got a bbt thermometer cheaply from ebay so will be temping from cd1.

Seems to be a bumper time for us long termers. Who's next?

Who'd have been killed? The baby is alive.

Can anyone remind me of the website where you chart your temperatures. While I'm waiting for AF (where the hell is it?) I may aswell start temping/opk'ing & stocking up on vitamins. Anyone know the cheapest place for Pregnacare Conception His & Hers?

    Thanks, SBD to all x

Has anyone had any side effects from the Vitamin B Complex? I have been taking it about a month but unless I have a heavy meal afterwards it makes me sick (actually sick as well not just a horrible feeling of it) so I avoid taking it now..

I'm sticking with the Pregnacare as I when I was 18 I was pg (ntnp - unfortunately ended in mc) and had horrific side effects including massive hair loss and unbearable sickness, I lost nearly 3st in the first 8 weeks! My Mother suffered both symptoms - eventually suffering a £2 coin sized bald spot as well as thinning of the hair and several admissions to Hospital with me and I want to try and avoid that if possible!! Can anyone recommend anything else which might be useful for if and when? xx
