Trying for a Baby Part 9

Hello everyone - back from a week in the sun and hit reality with a big bump.
I have seen there have been a couple of BFP's - congratulations! :j:j
I went to Orlando several years ago and needed a holiday to get over it. There is something really magical about that place. I loved the fireworks in the evening :T
So had the doctors appointment today. DP SA results are all "perfect"....he was very pleased with that. she did say that a slight change in lifestyle and for him to keep up his vitamins would help as some of the swimmers are a little lazy! Que me saying ha I told you so!
We are going to start military style exercise classes - outside - that should hopefully get me pregnant quick so I can stop!
Angeltreats I've also been looking at 3 door sports car with just 2 seats - it looks lovingly me at me each time I drive past the forecourt!
So anyway, I have been prescribed Clomid to start from the next cycle for 3 months. If that is unsuccessful then we will be referred to the FS - we can go private for the first appt - I know its not very MSE but £150 isn't that awful. Aparently if we need further treatment then we can be filtered back into the NHS system. She also recommends that we start every other day BD from day 10 and just use OPK's and stop the temping etc.
So here we are, I am on CD12 so guess we start tonight. You never know a week in the sun with lots of drinking may have helped!
Hope you all have a good day x0 -
Twigpig Thanks for the info, I used to use FF some years ago and think I will go back to temping. Only prob for me is I don't ov without meds so a little worried its something more to stress about knowing that I don't ov.

Littleme82 - perfect SA results and a prescription for clomid ... sounds very positive, you must be pleased !!
I've got several baby names which i like pretty much equally the same amount, so i've got stand-bys in case anyone steals one !
I've been reading all your opinions about going to Disney World as a couple. I've been to Disney Land twice as a teenager and an adult which was amazing, but i think i want to save Orlando for when we have kids, it'll probably be a once in a lifetime trip for us given the price, so i'd wait til they were at least 6 and could go on some of the rides but also so they could remember it ! But even just the Paris one with my then boyfriend was really fun, so Orlando must be reeeeeeally good. Plus it rained the whole time in Paris, which probably won't happen in Florida !
Not much happening on the TTC front, we managed to BD one last time on CD15, with ov on CD13 or 14 not really sure. Cm has defo dried up now tho (sorry ... tmi) so ov happened at some point ! Into the dreaded 2ww, hate it. I've got lots of work to be getting on with tho to keep my mind occupied, plus two weekends away
Hope you're all doing well and bd-ing it upPomme

Hi all
I have been away for the bank holiday and a bit of an extended one - not quite as exotic as some of you ladies are planning!
From a quick scan of the boards it looks like congrats are in order for Team Lowe! Hope it all goes well!
As for me, managed to DTD CD10, 11, 12 and 13. Didn't get round to today which is 14, and OH works away. Am hoping all my efforts actually lead to success.
Will read back through properly in a bit, hope everyone else is doing ok0 -
afternoon ladies,
all of this disney talk is making me jealous! have never been before so would love to go! although i have go my hol to greece in exactly 4 weeks 1 day to look forward too :j
have not thought about temping yet, hoping the opks (plus cbfm this month) will be enough.
fannyanna feeling grrrrr for you too! how frustrating.
afm, I had a very stressful drive into work this morning. 2.5 hours to do my 50 mile trip into the office. making me late for a customer meeting and not doing my stress levels any good!
think I've worn out my oh! (the intercourse diary on the cbfm trial is really making me focus on when we bd!:) ) we managed cd 8, 10, 13, 15, 17 (twice) and today is cd18. According to the cbfm my first peak day was cd17, so must try to again tonight/tomorrow morning. think we started too early, but id though I was ovulating earlier than 17 in prev months.
anyway, off for dinner with friends tonight. looking forward to a good gossip!Mini me due March 2014

Think got a +opk today i have a pic but i have forgotten how to upload
Nit a huge temp rise today but didnt get much sleep
After staying in bed till 2pm my temp went up to 98.04 so fingers crossed0 -
Here is the opk i did at 2pm is this a + or a - please0 -
Atton do you temp at the same time every day? Just asking as your temp will fluctuate at different times during the day regardless of ovulation- for example mine was 36.46 this morning and now it's 36.63. It's one of the reasons I intensely dislike temping as I had to set my alarm for 6:30 everyday to do it to make sure I hit the same time... glad I only do it when I can be bothered now!0
