LOL, oh dear Code! :o Reminds me of several years ago when OH had gone into B00ts to buy condoms (shows you how long ago this was! :p) and there was a promotion on where they came with a free lube and the cashier made a point of calling someone over to go and pick up the selection he could choose from and saying, 'There's tingle, heat or cooling... ooh, wonder what that feels like?! ;)'. Poor lad just grabbed one and legged it... then told me that I was on birth control buying duty after that! :rotfl: After that it felt like we ran into at least one person we knew every time we had some condoms in our basket! Glad we don't use them now, saves those awkward situations! :p
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

    Oh god code how funny!!

Selina as the girls have said above temping is only the cost of the thermometer & the fertility friend website is free.

Opks I buy mine from home health ltd - same as the amazon ones. They're really cheap. Way way cheaper than in the shops plus you avoid embarrassing incidents as Code had today lol!

When we were about 19 my friend freaked out thinking she was pregnant, bought a test in the supermarket and her mum came down the aisle!! Luckily she managed to hide it!

    Hi Everyone,

Back from my hols in Holland. Had a great time but had serious internet withdrawals. Just spent a day and a half catching up on everyones posts.:D

Loved the giant jaffa cake btw.

    Congatulations to the BFP.

Becca - Sorry to hear you have been having a hard time. Glad ov finally arrived.

To the ladies with irregular cycles not yet tracking ov
    - my cycles have been irregular my whole life and I never knew when my af was going to arrive until I started temping. It confirms that you have ovulated and once you know how long your LP is you also know exactly when af is due to arrive and saves a lot of stressing about whether or not to test.

Birdie - Belated happy birthday. Glad you had a lovely time

BZ - Very happy to hear the scan went well. You have given me so much hope I always love hearing your updates.

Fannyanna - At my FS appointment they did a smear (I had never had one:o), an internal ultrasound and checked my BMI. The doc took a full history of my cycles. He also arranged a SA for my OH and an HSG and 21 day bloods for me. My OH has come to all my appointments as he wants to feel included. I was tempted to go on my own as we are pretty certain that I am the problem but in the end I am glad he was there and he is very understanding about what I have to go through.

Tinks - Always a pleasure to see the lovely things you are making.

Code - Hope your doggy is on the mend. Love the little house and the cross stitch blanket.

Hi to all the newbies:hello: and hugs to anyone the witch got.

afm. I ov'd while on holiday but there is one day that I did not manage to take my temp. Depending on whether or not that was a higher or lower temp makes a big difference to where FF puts the cross hairs. Either we had very good timing or very rubbish timing so on the next list can I be put down as 7dpo. I decided to enter a temp that puts the coverline where it normally is so hoping for the best.

I bought these from Amazon, 20 for £3.75. I think you can even get cheraper buying in larger quantities. ;)

I bought the same ones from http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PRIVATE-50-30mIU-OVULATION-FERTILITY-TEST-TESTS-/310122489950?pt=UK_Health_HealthCare_RL&hash=item4834bda85e#ht_5333wt_932which I think works out cheaper than Amazon if thats helpful xx

Hello newbies. May your stay be short!

Signed up to FF today for a month and according to this I am only 10DPO so we DTD the last time 4 days before OV so I'm probably out :(. Strangely enough they rate your chances of being pregnant based on e.g. if you DTD within the 3 days before OV. What about stopping three days before if you want a girl (I know old wives tale but still).

Thought I post a link to my chart:

    Hi girls,

    Welcome newbies

Code - How embarrassing! I hate having to get personal things from the supermarket as I'm always bound to bump into someone I work with or worst, a child from work.

Currently on CD2 after the 6 days of spotting. Has anyone had a dodgy cycle like this before?l

Good news is I have started using my CBFM for the trial though and am actually quite excited about having a new gadget to play with. Feels like its made baby making a little more exciting again...Okay I'm officially losing the plot!!
