    Welcome Slinky

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY BIRDIE _party_

Elsie, January & Tia - Hugs for CD1. I think I will be joining you tomorrow as it looks like the witch is showing up now. I'm actually really pleased for once though because I knew I missed ovulation this month so getting in to a fresh new cycle will be a relief. :)

Kynthia - I'm starting with the CBFM tomorrow so I hope I get on ok with it. I think I'm also going to start temping too so it's good to hear that you also think temping is useful. Fingers crossed that your hubby got on ok.

Becca - boo to men being annoying sometimes! I would echo what everyone else has said tho.... You really did hit some of the key BD days so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you this month. My friend got her BFP on her last month of clomid and she didn't think she had BDd enough either.

Claire - great news about your test results. Good luck for the ones tomorrow, hope they go well too.

Good luck to all those testing soon! And Babymad fingers crossed that you won't need your list! :) Great idea tho!

Picklekin - I had to have the "conceive plus" chat with the hubby last month. To be fair, I think after watching me do a handstand after sex he hardly batted an eye lid at some "special lube" :rotfl: Although he is tight so I had to lie about the price or I know he would moan about using it haha.

Afm - I'm looking forward to next month. I'm feeling really positive about a fresh cycle. :)

Only 2 working days till the weekend! :T

Claire16c - my cycles were irregular when I first bought the CBFM as I'd been off the pill for five months. However after ten months they have settled down to roughly 30 days with ov on approximately CD17.

I don't feel the CBFM is as good as I thought it would be. I thought it would give me high readings to indicate my fertile window so that I could start dtd for a few days and then a peak reading just before I ov. However it either gives me far too many days of high readings, seven, or not enough, such as only one last month! I'm not telling people not to buy one, just saying that you probably don't need it if your cycles are fairly regular and temping has shown you roughly what CD you ov.

My husbands SA came back, and he describes it as a B- score but I'm worried that it's more a C. I'm not really sure how good or bad it is. Good volume, low density, low total normal and motile but the rapid progressive element was good. It's the low density that worries me. Anyone know what causes that or can improve it?

Bex glad I'm not the only one who has done a handstand after - well actually mine was more of a headstand & DH pushed me into it lol!

Just went on Facebook and seen 2 pregnancy announcements right on top of each other in my newsfeed but both are just my friends commenting on them - I don't even know the pregnant people myself! It's bad enough if I know someone now I'm being bombarded by strangers too!

Yeah I'd agree with you that's why I was wondering why you bought it if you were regular but I see why if you weren't previously. If I was going to buy it it would be for the same reason - to get the high before the peak - so if you think it's acting up & not giving you a true reading maybe sell it on eBay? As also if you keep
Using it you're also having to keep buying expensive sticks for it! Maybe just stick to your temping & regular bd like you say.

I've heard zinc & walnuts are good.

I'm going to give his SA results to my GP and hopefully she'll explain it and decide whether I need anymore tests.

I don't think my hubbie's GP was that concerned and it's good that he has a good percentage of rapid and progressive. However the low count per ml worries me and I can't see that morphology was checked.

I've asked him if he'll stop cycling 25 miles a day but he's not keen. I can understand as he's cycled through a horrible winter and now wants to enjoy doing it during the summer, however I'm not sure he's taking ttc seriously! At my age we can't wait too long and I'll get forceful if things don't happen in a few months. I've said he needs to change his vitamins to ones that include zinc and selenium (and maybe folic acid). He is already an ok BMI with fruit and veg in his diet. However I've asked him to keep the laptop off his lap and not drink more than 5 units in the same day.
