Bah CD1. I know I've not been on in ages, no excuses, bad January! I stopped temping in the cycle just gone after I knew I had ov'd and have started tempting again this morning as I just knew I would start as all the warning signs were there last night.

Need to read through loads of pages to catch up. I'm sorry I don't come on here more often.
I really do hope there have been loads of BFP in my absence and that the dreaded witch has left everyone else alone!

  • My partner has just had his SA done and results were 1% and 4% (sorry cant remember which way round). He went for results on his own so I didnt get chance to ask questions to doctor. Doctor said he was 'sub fertile' . Does anyone know chances of me conceiving?

loulou sorry to hear you have had a tough time xx

code the ewcm sounds like hormone rather than ov type stuff.

    :bdaycake:HAPPY BIRTHDAY BIRDIE!!!:bdaycake:
    Hope you've been spoilt!

    thriftylass fingers crossed for you!

BZ I am relaxing now (even though I HATE that phrase!!!). The worst bit for me is always the few days over ov. Now I can just chill out and know I've got our FS appt next week. Be thinking of you next Thurs!

Lily and Part Mouse .... I'm not being prescribed any more clomid for a few reasons. Firstly I've had really bad side effects (10 day headache anyone?!). Secondly I always have at least 2 or 3 follicles at 18mm plus on CD11/12 and I don't ov until at least CD16 and he is concerned that if we continue it might over stimulate. Thirdly he said if it was going to work by now then it would. Which in a way I agree with as we have bd at all the right times (except this cycle ) and nothing. I know it's a slim chance every month anyway but it's raised on clomid. I do wish he'd give me another 3 cycles (this is what I was expecting) but he's the expert and I do trust him, even if I don't agree. PLus I don't want my ovaries to burst :rotfl:

Picklekin I hope you get 2 dark lines very soon!

BabyMad I hope you never have to use that list :D but I do that too!

    So sorry for CD1 january

When you update the lists Becca please can you change mine to CD1 I know now why I went on the pill - PMT has been really bad! Not looking forward to another weekend of feeling miserable and wanting to cry at nothing.

Ruth26 - Thanks. I'm feeling sick right now as he's had his appointment but I can't speak to him until after 8pm tonight. There's a chance that there might be a problem for reasons I won't go into, but it should be fine.

Bewilderedhelpneeded - I sympathise. My hubbie never gets things clarified and therefore can't answer my questions on important issues. I may be on here later tonight asking similar questions to you.

I got my high reading today, CD15 is really late for me. I sometimes think my CBFM causes me more stress than not. Temping for a few cycles has given me the best info and now I should just dtd every other day from CD10 to 18. Reacting to my CBFM has caused me to make changes that were wrong. Anyone else regretting their purchase?

    Happy birthday birdie!

I'm so relieved just rang up & my 7dpo test was normal!! However I wasn't too worried about that one so I would have been shocked if it had been bad as I know I ovulated & have sustained a pregnancy progesterone wise so it's now the ones I'm getting done tomorrow that I will be really worrying about.

Kynthia - if your temps fit in with the cbfm then I'd just carry on incase you are just ovulating later than normal. If you want to just bd every other day that makes sense - but then do you have regular cycles because if you do, why the need for the cbfm?

    Hi all!

New person so please be gentle with me!
Me and OH have been trying to conceive since Jan 2012 with a little break in Oct, Nov and Dec due to me having an abnormal smear test and ending up with a loop diathermy

Since January things have been nothing put trouble AF has made an appearance at 29 days 21 days, 21 days, 32 days and 29 days making it almost impossible to track my ov days and to have that particular test done at the doctors, DH is all ok though. Thankfully we are now being referred to the specialist to see if I am still ov as I could definately see signs of it last year but not this year.

I always said I would have kids past 40 but am revising that as I was 40 last year! I've been a bit green eyed as well as my sister had her first baby in February this year and my brother had his first baby 17 days ago so surrounded by babies but had a little  as well. I also have to lose some weight which will prob help the fertility and make time to have more practice at making babies :D

I would be grateful if someone could let me know whats going to happen with the specialist! And thanks for reading this superlong post

Hi selina! What do you use to track ovulation? Lots of us on here have irregular cycles but use cheap or expensive ovulation sticks, temping and cervical mucus, are any of those working for you?
