As she told me I cant test for pregnancy till the 24th of this month, how come you guys are able to test sooooo soon?
I've read somewhere sth about 18dpo, i.e if your temps are still high then and AF hasn't shown, test and it's most reliable and most likely positive. Maybe that's why? Although anyone who's AF hasn't arrived by 14DPO will test if they can wait that long lolDEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -
So I accidentally just bought a bbt thermometer... Looks like hope still springs eternal in my deluded mind....
I think I'm just going to temp up until OV when it arrives and then sporadically afterwards. I'm taking AC (4 x 400mg) and inositol (2 x 675mg) properly this cycle to see if that shortens my cycles. I'm figuring the shorter I get my cycles the quicker we'll get the IVF...
I've booked Madrid for June so hopefully the weather will be nice. OH is hoping that I've bought him a dishwasher though so he best not be too disappointed... :rotfl: Has anyone been to Madrid? Any recommendations? So far I'm taking him to Real Madrid's stadium (fingers crossed I see lovely Jose...), on a strawberry train journey and to an Arab Hammam...
My joke is:
Two muffins in an oven. One muffin turns to the other and says: 'Pffffff, it's bl oody hot in here'.... Second muffin screams 'Argh! A talking muffin'....
It's terrible but I love it...0 -
What's ET short for?
Cause he's got little legs. :rotfl:
And heres a joke for my fellow geeks:

Hi everyone,
Feeling really fed up today. Woke up and went to the loo and all fine then needed to go again about an hour later and (TMI alert!) saw very light pink spotting on tissue. Then a couple of times in the day, I noticed it was brown spotting only on the tissue though...
Looks like AF is coming super early!! I'm currently CD20 8DPO usually I have a regular cycle 28ish days give or take a couple of days. I know we did everything we could this month and timing was perfect so wish at least it would have let me feel positive upto CD260 -

Just watching the 'Keeping Britain Alive' NHS programme on the IPlayer- 15 week pregnant woman taking an overdose. Teeth firmly gritted...0 -
Love the muffin joke!!!
Do any of you use preseed or conceive plus? I feel like I should throw everything at this cycle I can, so the Clomid can do its thing!0 -
We use conceive plus. It's good
Got home to A letter cancelling my FS appt in 3 weeks and rearranging for JulyFirst baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140 -
I love the muffin joke too! I sent it to a friend - in reality we are all just children at heart.
becca, that is SO annoying. I hate when the NHS does that! I was going to an endroconologist a few years back, and the must have rescheduled it 10 times. Every month I'd get a letter. Then the one month I couldn't make it as I was on honeymoon, they finally didn't cancel it! I hadn't told them as I just assumed it would move - like the last 9 times. I got a nasty 'you didn't show up, so you are off our books' letter.
I gave up..
I tested and got a BFN. Been discussing it a little on the other thread. I'm not thrilled, but mainly I'm just confused. How can I just skip a period? If my knowledge of biology is anything, then I can't just assume the next cycle has started, as it has to get out somehow. No symptoms other than bloating, but I'll keep my Sunday test date.
Surgeon said to test again next week, and just wait to see if the next period also doesn't show up.0 -
I rang up, made a fuss and got an appt in 2 weeks
I wouldn't have minded if it wasnt for the fact that I have no idea what's next for us and I just couldn't have waited until July, I would have been sectioned!First baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140 -
Oh no becca I'm really sorry. Maybe the clomid will carry on its effects between now & then?
T2d are you sure of when you ovulated?
I had a weird month a few weeks back where I never ovulated at all and then randomly got AF out of nowhere. I read if you don't ovulate you either just have a really long cycle - which could be I guess so long that it would seem like you skipped one, or your hormones drop a bit like when you're on the pill, which seems to be what happened to me.0
