Thanks everyone for your advice re whether to tell DH its ovulation time! Have decided I will tell him as I think he will want to go for it! :)
Am wishing time away until next week - don't really like being in this so called wine and chocolate zone.... Though got a night out Sat to look forward to where I can happily drink without any guilt at all! Think will do some ov testing next week (for the first time ever) just to check that everything is back to normal with me - knowing my luck Ill get a weird cycle.
Still running and lost a couple of pounds, my knee injury seems to have repaired itself.... so feeling more positive than I have been doing.
    Good luck tomorrow Sjlou.
PS - loving the jokes! Brightening my day up!

I didn't tell DH for a while, but he knew I was tracking, and so every time we DTD he assumed it was because I was ov'ing rather than for fun. Which wasn't actually the case, but it ended up in a big fight where he said he felt like I only ever wanted him as a sperm donor!

Which truly wasn't the case. So I started to let him know it's coming up, so he knows that we do still have s3x for fun from time to time. Depends on how you think your partner will react.

I'm so glad to be back ! You lot are so lovely and it's wonderful to have people to share the ups and downs of this crazy journey with ! No one in real life knows we're trying and i'm soooo glad i didn't tell anyone as they'd all be asking questions by now.

I'm having trouble believing it'll ever happen now, every time i see a baby or a pregnant lady, it just seems like this magic thing that only happens to other people, like winning the lottery. I always want to stop them and ask how they managed to get pregnant in case there's a secret ingrediant i'm missing, but they'd be like 'errr i had s ex' :o

Oh and i always tell OH when it's around ov time, he likes to know that his swimmers have a target to head for, seems to motivate him, weirdo !

Kynthia - huge hugs! What about trying to plan something to look forward to? Take your mind off all of the crappy stuff for a while…… Little holiday perhaps?

Thank you. I just need progress to happen in either the job, house or baby department. All three being stalled in a bad place is too much. Annoyingly my hubbie became scared of flying after last year's holiday so we haven't planned a main trip this year. However we do have a few days in the Isle of Wight next month.

With your temperature spike, could you have an infection or did you drink alcohol the night before? Did you eat or drink anything other than water before taking your reading, as this raises your temp? Did you sleep well for at least three hours before taking your reading, as less than this or a disturbed sleep increases your early morning reading? Did you eat anything particular spicy the night before?
Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!
