Oh good Lord, that list is scarily true Claire! What's the pink thing at #119 though?! :o I've had so many weird looks when buying tampons and HPTs at the same time too... and once even a pitying smile! :o

You should use the £50 to buy some really crazy shoes that will be too high and too tight to wear once knocked up! :)

It's a ferning thing - you spit on it and it tells you if you're ovulating. I only know that from some US sites I've come across where they've mentioned it they don't seem to be as popular here. So yeah I can tick that I know what it is :rotfl:

I think I saw Ruth was the same cd as me too so hopefully we'll all be getting bfp's next weekend!!

    Fingers crossed indeed.

    Vesper - hello!

Sjlou - Thanks for posting the lists. :)

Pesky - sorry for the bfn….. You'll be a TTC guru in no time ;)

Angeltreats - the blood forms could have said something like "fertile check". It's a bit insensitive, but not at all surprising…..

T2D - Look forward to your test on Sunday :) Fingers and toes crossed for you ;)

Purcy - Hope AF passes soon so you can get on with the next cycle :)

Code - it's so hard to hear people a little smug that they fell pregnant on the first month. I know it's not their fault, of course, but a little sensitivity goes a long long way. Hope scamp feels better soon too……. Oh, I love jaffa cakes. Why don't they do the totally covered in chocolates ones anymore. I loved them when they were around in 2002/2003 and I want them back!!!!!!! (off to look for giant jaffa cakes. Edit. is it a cake? oh, that's just not the same :rotfl:)
I'd DTD btw, as it can't do any harm and you just never know.
Becca - gaint buttons! Now you're talking…... :D Love the egg joke too ;)

TCD - Love that pimpthatsnack site :rotfl: Oh, I'd love to go to Madrid. That'll be lovely…… when are you going?

Kynthia - huge hugs! What about trying to plan something to look forward to? Take your mind off all of the crappy stuff for a while…… Little holiday perhaps?

    Tinkwings - sorry for AF …. :(

Loving the jokes ladies - especially the brown and sticky picklekin! :rotfl:

Good vibes - The words relax do exactly the opposite…… Hope you can avoid the visit. Hugs for AF too….. :(

I know a few of you girls give up taking your vitamins in protest, but it's probably better that you take them every day, you know. I'm no expert of course, but if it has even the teeniest tiniest chance of helping to get pregnant by taking them every day, give yourself that chance :):p

My temps are still going crazy. 36.8 this morning and I've not OV yet. Even on the month I did get pregnant, my highest temp after OV was 36.7, so not as high as today. Why is so high all of a sudden? Ideas ladies? Maybe I'm preparing to release 12 eggs this cycle………..:rotfl:

Oh, and I joined to poas opk brigade this morning. It was neg as expected for at least another week, but I guess it can't do any harm to add opk's in the mix to time things just right. Oh yeah, they're also out of date, but I don't think that'll matter :rotfl:
    TTC #3..........

I think I am now certifiably insane. I peed on a test as I have nothing else to do before I start work later & I've convinced myself I can see something (if i tilt the test & skint so hard & go cross eyed ive now got a headache from doing! Oh and it's only there a certain way round lol ) There is nothing there, the test is blank not even worth taking a photo I can only see something which is prob an evap line if anything - but I'm developing a really bad case of line eye!! I wish I hadn't peed on the thing now as for a second I really did think I had seen something & got my hopes up. :( when actually there's nothing there but I want it to be there so much I'm now imagining things!!

Hugs to all that are having a rubbish time at the mo, seems to be quite a few :(

Waiting to use my CB OVK will start on Sunday. Does anyone else get the temptation to look at baby items even though you are not pg? Maybe it is because I have wanted a child for so long (years and years) and now I am 30 in and a situation where we can it is getting to me. Doesn't help that OH's eldest is 16.

I am trying to distract my mind from over-worrying today about family member who is having an op for cancer today :(

Positive news - our puppy is much better and have a 3 day weekend starting tomorrow, going to paint our bathroom so will keep me busy :)

Woo - it's Thursday today which means that it is Friday tomorrow!

Birdie85 - finger is OK thanks - just sore.

Twigpig - ooh - new clothes. I've got a christening in Sep/Oct, so I think a new outfit will be called for then. Hopefully I will have lost quite a bit more by then. I'm new to all this, so no idea on the temps I'm afraid!

abis21 - huge congrats on the scan xxx

sjlou - I am very daft, and tend to focus to an extreme level so don't realise I've cut/burnt/stabbed myself. Huge unexplained bruises are a common occurence :p Thanks for doing the lists - it was so exciting to see me on there!

Becca0417 - hugs for scan news xx We're all here for you, with virtual giant jaffa cakes and some really, really bad jokes (sorry ladies).

    tinkwings - hugs for BFN

angeltreats - I think your irrationality in response to that daft email was perfectly rational! Boo sucks to the insensitive wording on the forms. sometimes I think these people forget they are treating people and not issues.

purcy81 - hope AF goes away soon.

    T2D - fingers crossed xx

code - enjoy those doggy cuddles. Mine wrapped herself in the mosquito net last night in her frantic attempts to get in on the cuddle me and OH were having.

claire16c - you're not certifiably insane. At least I hope not, cos that sounds like the exact sort of thing I would do. A bit like wondering this month if I was pregnant, despite it being absolutely, completely impossible.

Wine and choc to all who need them. I may have indulged in a glass of wine and some Proper British Chocolate last night (the Dairy Milk made locally is terrible).

So cannot wait to get on that plane back to London next week. I keep checking what films are showing on our flights... Still have to do my uni work though. Urgh. And pack. What is it about packing? I tend to end up sat on the floor like a sulky child whilst OH takes over.

TMI alert - sorry but I feel the need to way overshare:

This first AF after coil out is certainly interesting. For a while there I was starting to think that AF was changing cos I was getting older, but apparently that was just the coil. Glad I didn't get rid of my stash of super jumbo lady plugs :rotfl:

Great list Claire. I can add - constantly checking your favourite forum as if that will somehow change things. I'm at work today, in full symptom inventing mode. Funny how they go away when I am focussed on something, and then appear when I think about them!

Kalama - lady plugs?! I sniggered... you will fit in perfectly here. :)

Where are you that the chocolate is rubbish? I can't stand cadburys when I'm in Australia. It tastes totally wrong.

blondy - hugs re your family member undergoing cancer surgery today. From experience, drop them a line/email/text just to say you are thinking of them. It really helps! When I was sick I loved the idea of lots of people thinking and praying for me, including a whole pre-school class on my surgery day. Still makes me tear up a little.

:o Thanks T2D. Just you wait - you haven't experienced one of my made-up words yet. OH broke it too me gently the other day that for my entire life I've been referring to a set of three films/books etc as a "tree-ology". Oops.

I'm in Kenya. It is just wrong - don't know if it is the cocoa of the dairy or what, but it is bad. Not as bad as it was in Pakistan though - that was shocking. Used to make me gag.

Oddly, I love the Cadburys in New Zealand. And it is SO cheap!

blondy - I know what you mean. just popped out to the shops at lunch and found myself looking at mother & baby magazines. err hellloooo, put that down now! :rotfl:

af has not appeared, its cd29 and I'm going to ask to go on the testing list for tomorrow please! eeeek!
Determined not to jump the gun, as 29 days has been my longest cycle so far, so holding out for tomorrow.
