    MorningAll,

Samtoby - The stress of tcc can make your cycles go a little wacky by delaying ovulation. Do you track ovulation or know how long your luteal phase is.

It is possible to get a positive opk and then for your body NOT to ovulate. During my longer cycles my temps show that my body keeps trying until finally ovulation happens.

If you got a postive on the 18th it could have been 36 hours later you ovulated which means you would only be 11 dpo now - which is too soon to test so there is still hope.

I always knew I ovulated late as I have period like pains when I ovulate which is strange I know but I generally get them. I did the Ovulation test on the 18th but I didn't get my pains until the 19th so based on what you are saying I probably would not show yet anyway.

I have got some mild ish on off pains in my lower area but I think this is probably me worried and thinking continually. My periods are generally like clockwork so maybe my body is delaying my period because I do not want it!!

Hey ho I will sit and wait and see what happens.....

Faith, my positives are normally a bit darker than that but it is dependant on when you catch the LH surge so it's probably a positive as it does look the same colour as the control. Get bding! :)

That looks positive to me faith time to go grab your oh for some bd I think!

Really nice to see you ladies planning some exciting things for the future it's always nice to have something to look forward to which isn't baby related. Hopefully you will all tempt fate and not get to do any of it!

Code I can't remember when you said your lovely fur baby was coming to live with you have you got him home yet? He looks like such a cutie!

Thanks for the bunny pic Mrs t m I never get tired of looking at their adorable little faces x

I've decided that I'm going to go to slimming world on Saturday. I couldn't get my shirt up over my chubby arms this morning and at 11 and a half stone I'm the heaviest I've ever been *sigh* my awful work colleague (thank God she's taking voluntary redundancy soon) asked me if I was pregnant again and I had to tell her no it was just podge grrr

    Hugs to all xx

Purcy - what a horrendously rude colleague you have!!! Thank goodness she is leaving!

Loving the planning nice things philosophy and think I may adopt the T2D 'business class' policy! It's my 30th in a few months and we were thinking of going on our belated honeymoon somewhere nice but decided not to book it in case I was pregnant *sigh* .

In good news, hubby took the hint after 2 days of the silent treatment (I'm one of the best "sulkers" I know) and has booked his SA. My initial blood tests also came back normal too. Not entirely sure what they were looking for as they didn't tell me to go in any particular cycle day but they did mark down my cycle day on the record.

    Hope all are well! X

Squ1rrel5 - Glad you've managed some BD'ing. Well done on joining the gym. I'm thinking about maybe buying a bike for the summer. Maybe ease myself into excercide gently. Would hope to lose another stone before then though…….. Are you going somewhere sunny for your holidays? (I'm just nosey) :)

We're off to Slovenia in about 5 weeks - it's in part of the Alps so there will be LOTS of walking involved - hence the gym!!

First gym session went well - not sure if I did enough to ache tomorrow though - we shall see!!
I have a bike too but I'm only a fairweather cyclist so havent been out on it much!!!!

To all those on the plus 35 side....ahem! When I last saw the midwife I tiptoed in at the age of 38 past all the teenagers waiting outside - I was feeling old. She said I wasn't past it yet and there were plenty older :) So hope for me at the age of 38 still I feel.
Re putting life on hold. I have a holiday booked for next March (Was thinking I would have a 4 month old :( ) Im not stopping trying - if I have to take a week old baby so be it! It is a UK break....
  • so after thinking AF was imminent the other day, I've not seen a sausage. 2 weeks late tomorrow (friday), what the hell?!

Seriously thinking I've just never ovulated because I had another BFN on wed, if that's the case I guess i just wait and wait until AF arrives? Or do I go to the doctors to see if there is an underlying problem?

Often wondered about PCOS. I have a weight problem and I have acne which has got progressively worse over the last month?

    Any help/advice very much appreciated.

Beautybutterfly - have you ever had a long cycle like this before? Not sure I can give much advice as never been more than 2 days late. If I was 2 weeks late then I would be off to the doctors because it would be so ununusual for me.

Hopefully you just have a very shy bean that will show itself on a BFP soon!

Squirrel - Slovenia sounds lovely! We're off to the Swiss Alps in the summer too.

Another beautiful and sunny day here! :j

After studying this mornings temps I have decided I've started looking for signs everywhere so I might as well embrace it, I'm gonna go hunt me a bag of bones, a pine cone and black cat and just watch THEM in the morning...

    Where is my pointy hat...?
