Sorry for negative tests ladies. Hope it's just too early.

Code and Claire, I also wanted DH to have a baby before he was 30 (since we started out when he was 27 I didn't think that would be too tough) but unless it happens in the next few months, that won't happen either. Milestones are horrible :(

Code I bet you can't wait to bring that gorgeous dog home! I've been talking to DH about getting a dog.

squ1rrel no problem. Have missed you around xx

Alice I'm guessing you are a teacher? Me too!

picklekin have you ordered clomid from the internet? Be careful, it's not a nice drug to take. Do you not ovulate? xx

Hope you caught it Goppers xx

    Enjoy the sunshine ladies!

Morning from a very grey Nairobi. Quite jealous of the sun you guys are getting... I actually had to put a cardigan on this morning!

Can I predict 6 BFPs for May please?

Thanks for the warm welcomes - I am still finding this whole actually not trying not to get pregnant a bit scary. It's like being an actual grown up.

Hugs to those with BFNs - fingers crossed for a different result in a few days time.

    Belated congrats to Lilymay :j

Code - hope you are feeling better and can we have pics of Scamp when you get him home please? Can't beat a cute doggy pic :o. I have a mental lab at home. She is 9, but under the impression she is still a puppy. I caught her watching a chicken roast in the oven at the weekend. She then got up and ran into the door of the washing machine. Twit.

Pesky & samtoby - Sorry that the tests are negative, but there's still hope :) Hope you're both using internet cheapie tests ;) It's true that some ladies don't get a positive until a week later (me being one of them), and yes do use fmu (first morning urine) as it is indeed the strongest in the early days when the pregnancy hormones are not as strong yet.

Catloverbex - Literally go on strike until your OH books that appointment, no laundry, no cooked food, no nothing! :rotfl: Hope he realises soon how imprtant it is. Burying his head in the sand won't help anyone in the long term. I'd compare them the smear tests, very unpleasant for us, but just have to be done and a small sperm sample is nothing compared to what you'll have to go through in childbirth!

Code - scamp is a good name :) Hope he settles quickly into his new home…… I was watching Ellen last week and there was an extract from the local news about the police being alerted to a man shouting help in the street. Turned out his dog was lost and he'd named him help. I bet it seemed like a good idea at the time :rotfl:

Squ1rrel5 - Glad you've managed some BD'ing. Well done on joining the gym. I'm thinking about maybe buying a bike for the summer. Maybe ease myself into excercide gently. Would hope to lose another stone before then though…….. Are you going somewhere sunny for your holidays? (I'm just nosey) :)

Alice - Hope works gets a bit easier for you for the rest of the week. At least it makes the days pass quickly :)

Picklekin - You're not an idiot, we all have those little niggles about how it'll happen this month for one reason or another and there's no logic in why we think like this. It's just a little voice of hope keeping your pma up. Next month will be a new start and you've got extra help on your side. Hope you feel better soon.

Goppers - I wish it was my Friday and I'd be starting my long weekend, although I'm only working 3 days next week, so I can't complain.

Becca (and anyone else with FF VIP) - How do I get the intercourse analyzer to say high, ie. What days? Do you have any months that say high?

kalama - I bet it's still warmer there than it is here. It's 6 degrees where I am, I'm hoping once the dreariness lifts, it'll get a bit warmer. You said that you're moving soon. Where are you moving to? (again, I'm nosey :rotfl:) Oh, and I love the word twit! :D

Hope everyone has a good day. Wish this week was over but worries about how much work I still have to cram in! Eeek :)

Noooo, I just mean I paid for the prescription :P I was gonna wait till AF to buy it at first.

I do ovulate, but my cycles are not completely regular. And thanks twigpig, I'll try and keep the faith... :)

Yes - still warmer here. Trouble is I am so pathetic after nearly 7 years abroad (3 years in SE Asia, almost 4 here) that anything under 18 degrees has me reaching for hot water bottles and blankets :o.

We're moving back to the UK at the beginning of September. I think I might take out shares in anyone who makes warm clothes. I've already been told I'm not allowed the heating on unless it is snowing.

I keep thinking it's Monday and I have the week ahead of me. We had yesterday as a public holiday (instead of next Monday) and it has completely thrown me.

Twit - a great word thoroughly underused in my opinion!

Your weightloss is truly astounding Twigpig - you must be so proud of yourself. I worked up the guts to get on the scales yesterday and turns out I have lost 6 lbs since the end of March. The change in what we eat seems to be working...

Just a quick check in. Am on CD11 today and managed another BD last night, that's three since Monday, what's gotten into hubby, that's not like us ;). Temp still low but ideally it should rise tomorrow or Sat latest and we're in with a chance this month.

    Hi everyone

Can I predict 5BFPs for May

Code - Scamp is a fab name for your dog - perfect choice

I had DD at 38 and my friend had one at 39 and then one at 41 so don't worry too much those of you who are only in your early 30s. When like me you reach 40  then it's a bit different although I still think I've got a fair chance of having another. Clearblue are including me in their trial too woohoo so I can't be totally out of the running yet.
