Trying for a Baby Part 9

Hi Becca, CD30. Last AF end of March thought I was back to being 'regular' after pill stopped but now not sure, will wait and see.0
-
Oh that's depressing. If I got pregnant now I'd be 34 by the time I gave birth. I think I might have to forget about having 3. Its seeming unlikely I'll even have 1.
The 'magic' 35 is looming. FML.

Hello, wow there are a lot of posts on this thread a lot busier than waiting to TTC.
Bit of an update had last AF end of March and came off pill at the end of Jan, also had AF end of Feb. OH and I have started to NTNP and have started BD this week, although yesterday starting spotting so though AF had arrived but not sure today. Did everyone start charting their OV straight away or wait a few months?
I started after 3 months. Impatient, moi? :rotfl:CD1 for me please.
I just returned from seeing family in Sweden. Two of them were pregnant and they were BD 3/4 times a day!!! They said it was the new advice and that once every 2-3 days was old news. I don't know if either me or hubbie have the stamina for that!
That sound insane to me! I really hope they meant 3/4 around ov and not every day of the cycle because that is really unecessary!
Anyway doesnt the sperm take around a day or so to like refresh, so even if you did it 20 times in a day, Im pretty sure after the first couple of times there wouldnt really be anything coming out anyway so anymore seems pointless?? Plus I know DH would find it hard after even twice (not that we even do that!). When would you even have the time to do that??
Bambi - is your DH some type of long term/away fisherman then? Sounds like a nightmare about the fine. Im guessing after talking to you he wont be getting one again
Fannyanna I took til cd30 this month. Thats even longer than after my miscarriage! Plus I read on a forum the other day when I was doing searches about long ovulation and tons of people got pregnant on crazy days like cd60 etc.
I had a call from clearblue to check I got the monitor, and when would I be starting to use it, I said in around 10 days. Theyre probably wondering why on earth I havent started it yet as I received it about 2 weeks ago!! Silly long cycles.
Code, I wanted a baby before I hit 30, that is now gone. Now Ill be lucky to even get pregnant before I have my birthday.0 -

Wow am impressed with the stamina on here...shocked at the 2 days in a row!!! Can't imagine 3/4 times a day...eek!!!!
As for me...I am not sure if I finally got a positive OPK today or not. I tested, put it down, got distracted and came back around 25 mins later - should I count it as positive or not???
Sorry to anyone I missed, but tried to skim through and have probably missed something significant x0 -
tia my opks say do not read after 30 mins.
I'll predict 5bfp this month please.Mini me due March 2014

Tia - my opks stay the same colour for days/weeks after testing (not that I keep them to stare at or anything...) so 25 mins should be fine.
I find when I get a really strong positive it will come up really fast like within 1-2 mins. But I have had a couple where I guess I didnt catch the lh surge right at the peak, and so it took a little longer. But by 10 mins it should be accurate and not really change after that as the stick will have dried out.
So if its a proper positive then Id say it counts. Ive done countless tests and Ive never had one change to anything different later on. If you want to see if you can get another positive, just pee on another one!0 -
I'll go with 6 BFP this month xJoined SW on 1.5.14 - Weight 11 stone 11
:A- 8/13 :A - 4/140 -
My test was negative
Could be because it's too early I suppose.
