Well, I must admit I've had a lovely day. Had my big afternoon tea, and had 30 or so adults around, with 5 kids from 8 months to 9 years. Really good fun! Everything went really well, and raised over £1000 for my two charities. I feel very virtuous!

And amazing weather so used the garden for the first time this year.

Had a good few drinks, but feeling fine, but will leave the mess to deal with the morning!

I know this is daft, but when I was out today there was a lady doing tarot and palm readings for a small fee. I've been having conflicted feelings about trying to conceive, how I've delayed having a baby, fear of being a parent and having my life change forever, being an old parent or too selfish a parent, how far would we go if it doesn't happen naturally or whether we'd remain childless and would we regret it, what if I have a baby that dies or needs lifetime care, will we have more than one or leave it an only child, etc (in case you hadn't figured it out by now I'm a bit of a worrier).

So I had a reading done where you have a question in mind when shuffling the cards but don't say what it is. Do you think I'm crazy and do others have all the worries and possibilities running through their brains that I do?

Welcome back becca, hope you had a good time :)
Can you/t2d put me down for cd1 (sun) or cd2 (mon) please? :( At least not using the clomid this cycle didn't lengthen it...

Code/claire, dh knew about cm before me, almost! He'd been reading up, when we first started ttc, and these days he fairly frequently wants to go through my ff chart with me to check his "performance" (frequency ;)) and then asks what each cm abbreviation stands for on it :p No privacy/squeamishness in this house :p

    Good morning ladies!

Lots of CD1s hitting over the weekend, hugs to your all. :o

Welcome Sophiasmum  So sorry to hear about your MC. :(

    Welcome Alice

Mincepiemonster- I remember getting my smear letter! It was a joke amongst my friends at the time too that it was the first birthday card we received! :p It's not that bad though so don't worry. :)

Hope your check goes well today Angel. :) The pelvic exam might be a bit uncomfortable (try 'relaxing' whilst someone has their hand up your foof!) but it won't last long then you'll feel like if you can cope with that, you can cope with anything! :) Oh and a present afterwards is a must! :)

Please don't give me any spoliers about Wrestlemania Code! I can't watch it until tomorrow! :o

Well done on the fundraising T2D! :T

Welcome back Becca! Did you have a lovely holiday? :)

You know I always worry when someone appears saying 'Sorry, not been here for ages!' as I think they're going to announce a BFP and disappear again! :o It's probably best for me to move onto the 12m+ thread since I feel like that but I'm in that awful limbo where there's not enough happening for me to actually say anything on the other thread! :o

Had some wonderful cuddles with my nephew on Saturday (we weren't allowed to disturb him on Friday night as the poor thing was worn out!). He's so cute, OH positively melted when he held him and he fell into a deep sleep after being really squirmy with everyone else (he's scared of newborns -too breakable- so for him to have a cuddle and go mushy is a big thing!) :D

Now that my brother's done his bit and provided the first grandchild the focus is back on me. :o I'm still determined to be relaxed about TTC as I'm fairly sure that there's Something Not Right with me so what's the point in stressing, but OH has asked me to tell him when I'm OVing as he doesn't want to miss it. Considering I'm not tracking it this month it's a bit of a long shot, but I guess it'll be in 3-4 days so if it makes him feel better I'll make him perform a few times this week (read: once since he'll be 'tired' after that!). ;)

Welcome back Becca - hope you've had a lovely break.

Hugs to all the witch has caught recently - it's another month to get fitter, healthier and more PMA - good luck!

Now on CD28 - had a bit of spotting yesterday which is totally unusual for me, never had it before and as I'm at the end my cycle, I though AF was on her way but still nothing at all.

CBFM dropped from high to low today so another month passes by without a peak so still no sign of ovulation ;o(

Back to work today and already wishing it was Friday - roll on lunchtime when I can go home, forget about work and see my fur babies - at this rate, they might be the only babies we have!

Hope you all have a good day

    Good morning ladies

Sorry I've not been around for a while - don't panic Birdie no bfp here - but I was becoming obsessed with it all and it was beginning to get me down.
Hi ladies. Not been around for a while as TTC is driving me mental. I find being on these forums everyday worse for me as I just get so focussed on TTC that it really brings me down. I don't like the person I've become and I'm tired of being so jealous to the point that it's a physical pain! I've found that being away from it has helped a little.

I could have written this Tea!! Whilst I haven't been trying as long as you the constant focus was bringing me down. Since the upset of cd1 I've tried to focus on all the other things that are going on in my life (and there are quite a lot of things at the mo) and it does seem to have helped.

Ovulation time has quickly come around again and I nearly got a positive opk yesterday. Still following the SMEP and trying our hardest to get pregnant but just trying to turn down my obsession a bit for my own good. :o

We've decided to use the cheap opks for another month but if no joy I think we'll be investing in a cbfm.

Welcome of all the new folk and congratulations to thoughts_please. Hugs for all of the cd1's let's hope April is a fertile month for us all!!

Hey ladies, Not managed to catch up since Friday, so I'm a bit behind :)

birdie - I stashed a few malteser bunnies away too, when asda were selling them off last week at 30p. How could I not buy them at that price?! They're too good! :rotfl: And you know you can always hoever between the 2 threads. Reading sometimes helps make you feel part of it all, even if you're not posting..... Oh, and hope you enjoyed the cuddles :)

fannyanna - sorry you're out this month. I agree about another month means another month losing weight. Although, I hope you enjoyed the pizza. Domino's Texas BBQ is my favourite! nom nom nom :)

ttc39 - Sorry AF caught up with you too. Hope you're getting to grips with the cbfm :) and had a nice dinner with the family (I love jacket potatoes with cheese and beans)......

teaandcakeordeath - As someone who also went to use the +12 months thread, I appreciate a little how you're feeling over here. Those lovely ladies will really support you on this hopefully soon to finish part of your journey. Do also try to plan things in your life - holidays, treats, nights away etc etc. Having things to look forward to help distract for a little while, or maybe pick up a hobby to help pass the time. Hope you're ok and will come back soon to share your BFP news :)

claire - Enjoy your last few days of 'rest' before the BD starts. I know exactly how you feel. It feels like such a chore :rotfl: I hope you're feeling more positive after your post last night. We're all here when you need to rant, cry, shout and celebrate :)

mincepiemoster - Sorry that AF got you. Great news about your cycle though. The shorter it is, the quicker opportunity comes around

With as much as they cost, they should come with sexy lingerie, a voucher for a dinner out every month that you use it, and it should light up and play a song!

:rotfl: Isn't that what the OH is for..... :rotfl:

sofiasmum - So sorry to read your post. I hope things settle soon for you, and your stay is short with us :)

firefly - Enjoy the rest from all the BD'ing.... :rotfl:

purcy - sorry that the witch got you. Thanks, it was me asking about AC and VitB. Do you just take one of each tablet every day? I'm on the VitB complex from start of this cycle but never taken AC before..... :)

good vibes - Sorry for AF ((hugs)). Take some tissues to the 12+ thread. I followed a lady there who fell pregnant via IVF after years of trying. Really tugged on my heart strings and such a lovely ending to her journey.

time2deal - thanks again for doing the lists. It's very much appreciated :) Hope you have a good break wherever you're off to tomorrow ;). Well done too on your fundraising, sounds like you had a busy but enjoyable day :)

lilmissmup - I'd use the cbfm - you're supposed to be able to use it anything up to CD5, so I'd just set it to CD5 and crack on even if it's a couple of days out :)

Oh, on the talk of smears, so unpleasant but really important so as much as I dislike them, I know I have to go. A nurse once told me that I have a long cervix, and now I know that, I always mention it when I go in and ask them to use the larger speculum - it's a lot less uncomfortable if they use the larger one. Thought it might help someone to post it :)

alice31 - welcome . Hope you're not here for too long :)

Mrs TM - Hugs for AF. Bring on the wine!

fannyanna - sorry the cramps have been so severe for you :(. As someone who's seriously allergic to pain :rotfl: and has passed out in the hospital before, once that little bean is in there, it's coming out one way or another, so you'll get through labour just fine :) Hope you're feeling better......

Tashatutuw - sorry for AF. Sounds like you had a lovely weekend planned - any homemade goodies left that you can send my way, lol. I'm craving sugar today...... :)

angeltreats - Hope your check up thing today isn't too traumatic. You're so brave going to a man! I'd near die of a heart attack having all that stuff done by a man. Thanks goodness there's plenty of lady gp's at my doctors surgery :rotfl:

MrsBunny - sorry for AF (so many AF's this weekend!). Nice find on the half price tests at Boots. Hope you stocked up to tempt fate of not getting to use them all ;)

    becca - welcome back :j

Code I wouldn't explain ewcm either to the OH :rotfl:. I did say BFP once and he said, what's a BFP, lol

kynthia - I think we're all a little crazy in some ways ;) How did the reading go, did she tell you anything of real substance?

beauty butterfly - welcome back

bigzippy - sorry for AF :(. Great that your OH is so clued up and interested in all things ttc. My hubby knows quite a bit too but doesn't know any of the abbreviations.......;)

I hope I got just about everyone, but if I missed you, it wasn't intentional, so extra hugs for you guys..... :). Hope you're all having a good Monday. I'm off to make a cuppa before the next 4 hours of being on the phone at work starts...... yeesh!
    TTC #3..........
