t2d don't worry, smear will be booked in in due course! It just made me laugh the way the letter said you have to be 25 to have it - thought they'd have sent it nearer the time, that's all! I love the NHS and think we are so lucky to have it. Yes it has its flaws (of course) but our way of doing things is the envy of many around the world.
Lovely long walk in the sunshine today and a family meal. Sat here feeling very full contemplating a(nother) glass of wine0 -
Mincepie if you live in Wales you get it the letter for your 21st birthday. My birthday is in July and I left my Welsh uni in June so I always joke that I fled the country to avoid having a smear lol
Your first one is really anticlimactic, you get yourself all worked up and its like a two second thing with a bored nurse lol xLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

Hi Ladies. I am now moving onto cycle 5 and on CD3....

Being sent to OHs work but he might be off work Monday so I won't get it until CD6 and too late to start it then isnt it?Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Oh smear tests!
I am 28 now so have had two, last one made me nearly throw up and pass out! I have extremely tight vagina muscles apparantly, so maybe thats why its agony but I am dreading turning 31!Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
T2d - apparently I'm now involving him too much in the process. It seems showing him my weird pee (it was really cloudy) was too much for him.
I don't think I can help with the lists as I mostly access this place on my phone. Sorry.
Being Scottish, I got smear tests from 21 onwards. The first was horrible, but since they've switched to the new plastic things, it's been much easier. And as t2d has shown, it's so important to get them done on time.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Hello please can I join?
I'm 28, have been married for a year and am trying to conceive our first child. We have only recently decided to go for it and I am on CD6. I came off the pill in November to prepare and am very excited to start our journey.
Looking forward to getting to know everyone0 -
