    Congratulations Amy!

P.S. I love that fluffnutter is always the first to ask for test piccies - awesome lurking! :)

Maybe it's the sleep deprivation talking, but I love ALL the ladies on this thread, I can't count the number of times I've been feeling a little down then have read someone else's comments and have broken into little snorty laughs - DH thinks I'm a crazy lady, but at least I'm in good company. We should write a book :rotfl:

ETA: I'm pleased it looks like better news TACOD and that the appointment was a positive experience for you. If it does turn out that you have two uteri then you can come and join Lily and myself on the special bicornuate team and we can compare our upduffed tales. I'm surprised they didn't check your kidneys at the time of the first ultrasound though, I thought that was pretty standard practice - hopefully it's a sign that the ultrasound technician wasn't having a brilliant day and it's actually much better than first thought IYSWIM. Is there anything you can do to improve cycle length?

Morning ladies. Glad the appointment was better tcod.

9dpo (new record fo me!) no spotting yet, but a big temp dip. I got some more sleep (nowhere near 3 hours though) and temp had gone right back up. I know I'm kidding myself, but can I trust the later one?

    Happy Friday!

Edit. Dr google tells me implantation is most likely at 9dpo

    Congratulations Amy! :j

Saw my SIL last night, she's really big now and constantly belly-rubbing. :o And she's nicked my nursery decor idea! Was telling my friends about the cute decals I'd found on Etsy and how I wanted a big tree with multi-coloured birds for my baby's room and she piped up with 'Oh, that's what we've done for our nursery! I've got photos!' Grrrr. :p 'My' tree's nicer than her's though! :rotfl:

Amyloofoo, get compiling your favourite posts for the book! :)

Keeping my fingers crossed for you Vic. :)

Glad the appointment was positive TCD, hope the scan shows good things. :) That's interesting about the long cycle thing... makes sense although it's a bit gloomy for the ladies with mega cycles. :o
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

This website has some stuff about uterine linings

    http://natural-fertility-info.com/thin-lining-of-the-uterus-build-the-uterine-lining-naturally.html

Although the things you can do to help seem a bit 'hippyish'.

I have heard the same thing in regards to long cycles but then someone on FF forum once wrote a post about how that's rubbish as the lining doesn't properly thicken up until the time of ovulation anyway. Ive read the same on b&b. So I'm not sure what is true.

I think a lot more research needs to be done into it, there's so much we just don't know about how these things work. you hear stories on other boards of people with perfect lining for IVF not getting pregnant, then those who are told their lining is thin getting pregnant.
Maybe it depends on the embryo? some are hardy and will attach to anything, some not so much so need a nice thick lining to burrow into.

It gives me some hope in a weird way, i know there's ways to shorten my cycle ie clomid so it's a problem that can *hopefully* be solved and an explanation as to why i haven't gotten pregnant in eighteen months is good in a way but maybe that's cos i'm NTNP atm so i'm more relaxed anyway x
