Argh, really fed up. Two shock pregnancy announcements today, one of which I have only found out about through a friend. Shame as the one who is pregnant is supposed to be one of my closer friends.

Hi Vic3, maybe your close friend was conscious of how her big announcement might affect you and didn't want to say the wrong thing. If she's a close friend she probably cares for you a lot even tho she didn't handle this very well. Big hugs xx

    sodding hate sodding weight plateaus....
230 this morning. half a pound on.
it's like my body looooooooooves being 16.5 stone and reckons it's the best weight ever.
can't do much more than i already am, so will have just keep plodding. for today though, i'm letting myself have a cheat day :) not much, just melon for dinner and ting

i'd do the fasting but i tried it and the weight came off after fasting days but then went back on and didn't make much difference. might try it again though to get past this plateau. go to the gym monday, wednesday, friday so could have fasting days tuesday thursday x

My SIL has lost I think about a stone & half/2 st recently and at the moment she's not had much time to do any exercise but I think her main thing was portion size so I'm not exactly sure how she's done it but I know for a while she was weighing out stuff because when she came to stay with us, me & DH were like is that a bowl for 3 people or just you? I think it partly comes from her being the youngest sibling with 2 older brothers! Who clearly can eat more especially with one being naturally slim & DH being a fitness fanatic!

Anyway she had a plateau for a while too & was texting me quite upset about it but then she got down to just under 11 st & she said she hadn't seen the figure 10 for years so that has spurred on to her goal of 9 something. And I said to her you have to remember you're not going to loose weight every single day so don't get disheartened plus if she wasn't eating better she probably would have put more on which would be worse than staying the same!

She's sent me a photo of how she looks now compared to the summer & it's very different! So I said look at that when you don't seem to be getting anywhere because you are it's just taking its time.

My Dad has been doing the fasting thing for a couple of months now, he just eats sandwiches & a soup I think on those days. My mum thinks he's a nutter as she's gone from an 18 to 14 by exercise & eating healthily. So I guess it's just what works for you personally.

I feel bad for SIL though were seeing her at the weekend & that normally means DH putting her through some exercise routine in the back garden whilst me & her partner watch out the window lol! Their fence is really short so last time the neighbour could see over the fence!

Oh dear, I really shouldn't have looked for cute things to buy my brother's LO, just look at these! Oh how I'd love to have a baby on the way so I could buy things like this without having to give them away! Also, a really wicked part of me doesn't want to give something like this to my brother because I don't want my baby to be 'copying' his! :o Yes, I've officially gone crazy! :p

I've even picked out the blanket I'm going to ask MIL to crochet for us when we eventually do get PG. I'd ask her to start on it now in case it takes her forever to do but don't think I'd be able to handle having anything around to remind me if there's still no baby/bump another year down the line (which is why we've bought absolutely no just-in-case baby stuff, no matter how good the deals are!). :o

    Those booties are so cute!!

BZ you are right! For the first time ever my body has decided to play tricks on me! My scan was 13 days ago, so at least my lp has been 1 day longer this month!

Yay for a better luteal phase - just in time for clomid!

Birdie I love the jellycat things we have bought the brown bashful bunnie for our niece and she loves it - so soft and cute.

I think I'm going to call 0dpo today as I had ewm on Tuesday & a +opk yesterday and today. (Let me know if I'm wrong as don't think I've had ewm before and didn't have a +opk Tuesday)

Looking forward to next week as having a week off work. Planning on catching up with friends, blasting the house work & getting through knitting my jumper & crocheting my blanket (I really ought to stick to one project at a time)

Hugs to all who need them xx
