January - my full flow comes on suddenly too. You need to take the pants off asap and run then under the cold tap for ages. Then a normal wash should take care of it. Obviously that is less successful if you come on in the morning at the office.

Just made things harder for myself. On a fast day tomorrow and made a pan of white chocolate cheesecake brownies because I've been promising my team that I'd make some and they'd kill me if I went in empty handed.
Thank you I will try that. I've had my period since I was 11 and no one has ever said how to try and rescue the undies. I have some that I've kept to use just for AF incase I go through a pad but there are only so many you can keep. I will certainly try what you say if I get caught out again.

Oh dear code I hope you resist. Chocolate cheesecake brownies though, goes off to search for a recipie. Looking at those they look yummy. I'm going to get fat aren't I? :rotfl: Will not make these unless AF shows her ugly head! If she doesn't come then will do them to celebrate. Oh dear I think I'm losing the battle and they aren't even infront of me. Code I hope you have more will power than me.

  • I've just eaten a massive pub lunch with my mum. I swear, I look about 5 months pregnant with a food baby. Was laughing at it and showed OH and he got all glum on me saying "it should be a real baby". Way to kill my food buzz.... Lol.

Ah the starting out of nowhere AF. The moment you find out it's like !!!!!!! Then oh !!!!!! that's another pair ruined. It can't be just me that finds it basically impossible to get them clean after that!

Dilute hydrogen peroxide will take out those types of stains. I stick them into a sink with cold water (no matter how old the stain is) and put a nice glut of the 6% h2o2 in with them. Swish and it should start bubbling. Let them sit an hour or so and repeat if needed. *geek alert* Hydrogen peroxide actually removes blood because it oxidises the iron in it. Even Luminol won't pick up a blood stain if it's been treated with hydrogen peroxide.

In other news: asked DH if he enjoyed dtd a bit earlier. Weve been doing it less and less, so I've suspected something was up for a while. Found out that he hasn't ever found me physically attractive. I don't blame him, but actually hearing it hurt badly. we stopped by a gym yesterday to check out the facilities and after we left he commented on how good the lady who showed us around looked... Thats a definite NO for that gym then. :( And it was the only one in our area with a pool included in the membership price too. Oh well. I guess I just need to get really !!!!ed off and do it without the gym, just to prove to all of the people out there that I can. I'm already quite !!!!ed off about it, but I still have to wait until tomorrow mor ing to hear back from the GP about my test results. I'm tempted to tell DH to not go with me like he wants due to everything that was said tonight, but he's already taken tomorrow morning off.

I really do hope that something is wrong with my blood tests to help explain why I'm always so hurt, depressed, and angry!

Now that Ive had all my blood tests done I have finally got an appointment with the fertility specialist for 2nd week of April.

The spotting has stopped since my period came and so the doctor said to not worry and return if the spotting returns. Fingers crossed it doesnt.

Still waiting for Ovulation to occur.

Yep I think I read that in a book or something and cold water definitely works! Plus I hardly own any white knickers so if I shove it under the tap or immediately put it in the wash its always fine.

Ha you sound like me. DH asked me what I wanted to eat when we were food shopping on Friday. I said 'nothing I'm too depressed.' Then I said 'just ignore me I'm in a ratty mood!' And then we both laughed. This is what I hate about ttc - no pill to keep away moods & spots!!

Mrs TM are you sure your DH really meant it like that!? Men are often idiots who say silly things that come out wrong or we misinterpret.

Maybe when he talked about that lady he meant she looked good as in physically fit? Rather than like pretty? And therefore maybe it was a good gym?

Don't be put off going swimming if its what you enjoy & you've been looking for!

Maybe have a chat with your DH try to sort things out & then go swimming together tomorrow morning?

Btw where do you buy hydrogen peroxide?

I would be hurt and angry if my OH had said something like that - men are such idiots some times! As Claire says, don't let that get in the way of joining the gym - it sounds like it could be a good option.

Take things one thing at a time, get your test results back and go from there. And if you don't want him there, tell him to wait outside while you have your appointment, then go and have a chat about things if you feel up to it.

Hope the appointment is useful and you feel a bit better once it's done.

Hydrogen peroxide - ask for it at the pharmacy/chemists.

We haven't signed up for a gym yet, we were still in the browsing stage. I don't have a swim suit anyway and cannot afford one at the moment.

And I do think he meant it like it sounded, he mentioned her boobs. Not exactly something a guy should say out loud to his wife...

It makes me extremely depressed, but at the same time I'm extremely !!!!ed off about it. If it wasn't so bloody cold I would have left out for a walk immediately. Probably wouldn't have come home until after midnight. Not a safe thing for me to be out alone at night, but at least walking does typically help clear my mind when I'm upset.

He's playing a racing video game online at the moment, so I'm just trying to stay quiet and out of the way. I did scrub my face very well, put on spot cream, pluck my eyebrows, shaved my legs, filed my feet and put cream on them, put body cream on my legs, cleaned my nails, washed, combed and dried my hair, the whole works. He won't even notice, but at least I feel clean now. I very nearly don't want him to see me naked now until I've lost all my weight, but by then I'll probably need skin removal surgery... I'll have to get a full time job for a while to be able to afford that. I'm very tempted to give up on ever having a child and I feel that it's completely my fault. :(

I'm on the verge of tears, but I refuse to let them out right now because DH also said that he sometimes wonders what he let himself in for when he married me. I don't want to do or say anything in front of him that would give him reason to think I'm not completely normal.

  • Sorry to crash the thread, but Mrs TM, sorry but your husband sounds like a bit of an a.hole.
    Is he perfect himself?
Don't let him erode your self confidence hon.
Hope I've not spoken out of turn but that has really made me cross.
