Warning: Tesco Direct/Yodel

I'm currently on hold to tesco about my missing order, part shown as dispatched but MIA, part not dispatched with no explanation.
A man in a van tried to sell me a 3d tv at a petrol station last night, wonder if it was a tesco one....0 -
Oh great!!!! Ordered a hudl2 last night from Tesco direct, got an email saying it would be ready to pick up from store today after 2pm. This morning I got a text from yodel saying my parcel was delayed due to them being very busy. I was confused because I assumed items going to a Tesco store would be delivered on one of their trucks, so didn't even know yodel were involved.
Like others here ,my experience of yodel is not good, few years ago I bought 2 part worn (nearly new) tyres from a guy on a BMW forum. He seemed very genuine, so I was shocked when they arrived via yodel, and both tyres were very worn and worthless. He asked for photos and was adamant the tyres I received were not the ones he'd sent. I thought he was ripping me off and lying, he thought I was trying to pull a fast one. On closer inspection, the label had been cut out of the original packaging. We concluded that a dishonest driver must have had a scam going with tyres, he unpacks them, checks sizes, and replaces good tyres with worn ones, probably had a mate with a tyre depot or scrap yard. Sounds pretty unfeasible I know, but I was confident after talking to the seller and checking his reputation on other sites that he was telling the truth. He gave me half the money back, yodel didn't want to know.0
