I have and keeps saying error, I am rubbish at this and getting very annoyed, seems simple to do but just will not let me, I have a new email address and password no probs, when I put it into outlook express it will not accept it and keeps coming up with error....0 -
What does the error say? It might give a clue as to whats happening.
I have nothing better to do!!!!

That wasn't an error I was expecting - can you still get your own e-mail?0

create a new identity and put in the new details just the way you have been doing and see what happens
to create a new identity go to file identities and add new identity - Once you put in a name and hit ok it will ask you if you want to change to the new identity - pick yes and then set up the account just as you have been and tell us what happens0 -
done that still same error message, I think it has to do with something I AM DOING wrong with the POP3 BOX and the Stmp box what exactly should I put in that?
Now on the connection wizard it asks for a telephone number where can I find where that is?0 -
Startrekker posted this, it should bring you through it step by step
Can I ask when you set up the new e-mail account did it say it was a pop 3 account or a webmail account.
Send an e-mail from your own identity via the file menu and switch identity to your newly created sons account and logon via the web to see if it got there.0 -
have you checked the settings in your own account in case any of the servers are different?
what about sending a message from your own account and checking your sons account online - how did that work?0
