WM TD and DW all going full pelt here, the energy companies will love me.
DH up and about which means he is going to be under my feet :rotfl:
Just need to check bank accounts, its near the 'end of month' for me and a bit tight
but at least by checking I am avoiding stupid errors. Its surprising how much extra the hospital running about cost, nearly £20 in parking alone and because they are short trips car got very thirsty so that needs motion lotion before tomorrow.
Kitchen has had a tidy up but will be an ongoing task today as always on Sundays.
Well done nickis DD - it makes such a difference when the kids are onboard
Bird stories - I love to hear about them and hopefully this year I will get a bird table outside my dining room window so I can attract some. My luck will prob be fat pigeons and seagulls
Bonnie - life is allowed to get in the way of flying so your wagon just took a detour you didnt fall off
Robedha1 - Welcome, and moving house is an excellent way to declutter and start afresh. We still have boxes that havent been unpacked 11 years on so we obviously dont need them!
Right offski for next stageMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
Im listing more stuff for sale :eek:200 weeks £25,000.00 / £7000

Not much flying here today yet. Went to dobbies and had a look round and a coffee. Thinking of joining the dobbies club with my clubcard points as it is £4 and that gives you two coffee or teas a month for a year. Spent more than that today, and it is an excuse for a few hours off from flying each month.
So far WM and TD x1, made Sunday lunch and DH washed up. Going to clean the woodburner now and then light it. Got HHI planned for later then a few more items to list on ebay.Make £10 per day in July £45.48/£310
June £232.66, May £310.36, April £310.19, March £287.32, February £250.18, January £257.24
Swagbucks in 2015 £65/£1500 -
Not caught up with thread yet Was out yesterday at a Save our Libraries event. Good turn out and met Val McDermid and Ann Cleeves.
This morning I've been out with friends. Just got a bit of tidying to do and the washing to put away.
Skint Love the photo of DS and Holly.
Hugs spoons and sticks where needed.0 -
Soggy newspaper decluttered to outside bin yesterday evening.
*touches wood* Thus far, all dry today.:o
Tried getting the little madam to sleep in the kitchen again last night (she was spark out when Mr LW and I went to bed the night before, so we just left her to sleep) but she was having none of it, so her bed came into our room.:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Update - sparrowhawk has been back to check out the garden again, startling a squirrel as it landed on top of the next fence panel
I got a good look at it but wasn't quick enough to take a photo.
Ditto, it came back and faced me this time so definitely a female sparrowhawk. We'd just been admiring all the 7 goldfinches on the feeder..........guess she had as well.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Not much done today
1 black wash
Stripped DS1's bed whilst he was at work, he can remake it
DH hoovered downstairs
Filled coal and wood baskets
Lit fire
Baked blackcurrant cake and apple and blackberry pie cooking
Rained all day here and now it is turning to sleet.
Just going to finish my cuppa which I've had with a lovely bit of cake and then I'll hoover the stairs and upstairs and put the hoover away. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
For the bird fans amongst us (Natty and Ionafan spring to mind - possibl Dusty too?) I want to brag (again).
only had a BARN OWL nearly hit the Vallimobile as I drove across the moors to take DS to see his true love....
Ooh, impressed. We hear them a lot round here, but I haven't seen one for ages.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Intermittent snow here now.
I must say, having blitzed house yesterday in honour of visitor, I keep looking round and admiring the tidy shiny place.........so the only flying has been cooking/washing up (dishwasher man coming on Wed to hopefully fit new valve).
I've now got a couple of hours to myself to catch up on work (college and freelance) but sadly have spent nearly half of it catching up on emails, FB, threads etc. Now desperate for a coffee..............Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
I am ploughing through a pile of receipts (pre Christmas, some of) filing thise I need to save and shredding paperwork..
DD needed her NI number for a job application. No clue where the letter is but it wasn't where it should have been.
*Takes note of own sig*
Fortunately the number was noted on another document. DS and I both have a card - they appear to no longer issue them.
Actually, come to think, DD probably has it;)Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson
