Ugh. Left dancing early. We've finished the term, and she still doesn't really join in, she just wants me to carry her. She had a strop today and hit me  so I put her in time out and then asked if she wanted to dance nicely. She said no. So we left. She cried all the way home "but I want to go to football" bless her. She said the same last week.
I think she's a bit small but will ask if she can join in DS soccer group. If not, I'm not sure. At least we gave it a go!
And we don't have to be out so early on s Saturday any more :T
So. I'll go load the DW, have packed a return up that I need to take to PO. Have got a present to wrap for a party later, and will do some pre-football snacks. <DD is now dancing, how annoying!>
This afternoons jobs:
Stripping and remaking the beds
Vaccing the bathroom fan casing - yuk!
Trying not to throttle any toddlers :eek:Bossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0 -
Bossymoo my kids have started and eventually left all sorts of clubs/activities over the years. I just look at it as offering the opportunity and if it is not for them leave it for all of your sakes (and your purse). There are a massive amount of things to try in life and she is so tiny. Maybe she'll be in the England ladies football team one day!
Lazy weekend planned here. I'm going to have my 4th cuppa and tehn do an hour in the back garden before having a shower and taking DS2 to work and doing a bit of shopping in town.
Enjoy whatever you are doing ladies. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

I gave myself the morning off today. So have had a chance to catch up on a bit of reading.
I cleaning the cooker yesterday but then boiled over the pasta while talking to DS2 on the phone. So cleaning the hob will be my first job of the day. I burned the tips of two fingers yesterday so having to do most left handed.
My plan for this afternoon is to declutter the dining table which has become a dumping ground recently.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

DH and I have been out this morning: posted another parcel and then went to our local garden centre and enjoyed the £1.99 breakfast *nom-nom*. Got some bird food for us, empty boxes for the eB@y stuff, plants to go in a pot by the front door (6 polyanthus and a large rosemary, all on special offer) and bought a nice new large terracotta pot too because we can take it with us when we move and it was only £12.99 when other similar-sized pots were around £30 :money: I also bought a beautiful hellebore for my friend Penny - it's called Penny's Pink.
DH has now gone off to the tip with a load of junk from behind the shed :A
If I'm lucky, when he comes back he'll go out again and deliver some big plastic pots and bags of organic manure to our friends
Or he might get some more of the garage sorted
Or even both :rotfl:
I've taken a lot of photos and already put a couple of things up on eB@y, and when I've dealt with the WM and made some :coffee: I'll settle down and list more items for sale. Plenty to do, so I'm glad of the free listings.
No sparrowhawks so far today  but we've seen a pair of red kites.
Glad to hear your DH is progressing, Kazmeister - hope he soon gets a proper diagnosis and effective treatment, if necessary.
Are you coping on your own now, Skint?
(((Hugs))) and spoons for anyone who needs them, especially LW.
Hope everyone has a good weekend.0 -
Well, I'm showered and dressed and waiting for DD to bring down her washing so I can put a load on. Watching Murder she wrote and will get some other bits done in the adverts...............looks like everyone else is busy here

Update - sparrowhawk has been back to check out the garden again, startling a squirrel as it landed on top of the next fence panel
I got a good look at it but wasn't quick enough to take a photo. 0 -
Well, football man said bring them both to the 10am session next week and we'll see how they get on in the same class. DS wants to buy himself a little "goal" out of the rest of his birthday money, and he said we can practice and I can be the teacher

Hmph. Just upstairs in DD room and heard a noise outside. Looked out and 2 boys (late teens?) in next door garden (I recognise one as visitor, think he is the son but doesn't live their iyswim) looking suspiciously like they were rolling up naughty smokes.
Have vacced the bathroom fan, then when I picked the vac up the top fell off  so emptied its load all over the floor :rotfl: so had to vac all the floor again. Still, Tis done now and vac emptied.
Kiddies fed. DW fed. DS wants me to help him build a train track. They are having a bath this aft, then we have a tea-time disco party to go to :T
Might make a cake for my pa, he is 60 this week and impossible to buy for. Since I had such fun decorating DS cake, I might do another. Suspect he may not want dinosaurs, though :rotfl:Bossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0 -
Well nothing done here yet!!
OH has done the dishes and is getting the veg ready for tomorrows dinner.
When he is done I will hoover through and clean the floors, strip DD's bed put my face on and wait for DSD, then I'm off to the pub with the girls:)
Good luck to Scotland today xx0 -
Sounds like similar to what I had - was all over the place for a couple of years, sometimes short time between, sometimes, up to 3 months, with "spotting" on occasion. HOWEVER.... as Dusty says, if you're at all concerned, talk to the GP; I can only say what I had happen. Happily, I've been AF-free for over 3 years now.;) I shall be 53 in April, btw, to put it into age perspective.:oNon flying related question for ladies of a 'certain age'
I've had a chat with Mr LW, and we've agreed, S&S-ing only while Mary's here; she's quite hard work, needing to pop out to the garden on an hourly basis, and she wanders around from room to room a lot, but so far we've only had one small puddle indoors, which the newspaper dealt with admirably.:T She's eating well, too, which is good. Last night I was going to take her collar off and move her bed in with us (she sleeps in her owner's room) but she was fast asleep, so I left her in the kitchen, collar on, and left the doors open so that a) I could hear her and b) she could find us if she needed to. She slept through til 05:30 this morning!:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
