DS has helped me sort out loads of washing into colours today:D, and has stirred Skint Baby Holly's babygrows round in the utility sink where they are soaking, he has had great fun.

    All good learning :T
Ionafan the EX is going back tomorrow morning - I have got to take the car out for a test run in a little while:j, but come tomorrow afternoon the Skint Ritz will resume normal operation with Skint Baby Holly, cot, gibble and me vacating DD1 room and going back into my room with DS (he has missed me soooo much:()

Pleased to hear you'll soon have the Ritz to yourselves :j
My Diamond Health Visitor had a quiet word with the EX when I was getting her changed ready for weighing at the beginning of this week. Apparently all she claimed to have said was "you need to get your skates on making this place habitable, so its safe now there are two littles running about!"
Just so pleased she succeeded where everyone else had tried and failed :D

    Wonderful woman :A

I am getting on well with eB@y listings but need to stop and get us a meal now - it's been a long time since breakfast :p

    Thank you.

  • Hi there. Back in after two days of birthday celebrations - it's been lovely and I have been so spoilt! Yesterday I did very little flying, except for breakfasts, but was rewarded by a lovely wren at the bird table, which is very rare here, but it was there for me from the minute I went out, and for around ten minutes after, it was lovely to watch.

I had lunch out with a friend, then met two more (separately) which meant I had to watch what I ate, as I didn't want a) to be too overloaded with calories, and b) I needed to save room for my Chinese meal!

Today we did an hour's flying, as there were things everywhere, including muddy paw prints! I also changed the bed and cleaned bathroom and kitchen, and then got a light lunch prepared for another friend who was calling, with her grandchildren. We had a great time and when they'd gone we went and got our weekend shop, so tomorrow - hopefully - will be a relaxing day!!! I hope so, I have so many things to read, play with, use etc, and I want a few hours of peace and quiet, even though it's been lovely to see so many people.

Good health vibes all round, epecially to Lady Liberty, Lamewolf and Mr Kazmeister. Good wishes to everyone, especially anyone feeling low or poorly.

Pigpen and Skint; your pictures are lovely, what little sweeties they are, and you take it as easy as you can, Skint, and give yourself enough time to heal.

    Bye for now R x.

PS The flyladys with period problems. I've had a hysterectomy, as I had fibroids, but after age 40'ish, I started to get periods that were either late or early, and my doc said the spotting of darker blood in between happened at ovulation, which started to be at erratic times as I got older. I was told it's quite normal and a lot of women get it as they get towards the menopause.

But - as someone said - see your gp if you are worried, I just thought I'd share that, it's not 'advice' at all. Good luck, periods can be a blinking nuisance at times!! R x

I've just been reading the first page and I wondered if the list is the same every week or whether it changes?

Ah I see! But does the list stay sort of similar? For example if a room is cleaned on the first day of the first week and the last day of the next week then that's a pretty long time without cleaning? Or does it not get that dirty (I've just moved into my first home so am a little bit amature at cleaning).

What can I clean light switches with? I'm assuming I can use flash all purpose cleaner in a bucket with a j cloth/sponge for everything? Obviously very rung out near electricals, or is that a no no?

Also, what can I clean my LCD tv screen with? I once accidently got vim on it and haven't cleaned it since as I'm worried about the abrasion. I think the vims all off now but we have a lot of sticky baby finger prints on there.
