    Read my post - reply no 6 - write her a letter as I suggested and stop wasting your time here bleating about it. You could have typed it a dozen times over and posted it by now!

    Or are you waiting for someone to come along, hold your hand, dry your tears about the horrible landlady expecting to clear up the dirt you left in her carpet and tell you "there there, naughty landlady hasn't got a leg to stand on and you'll get all your money back for her being so nasty to you as to even suggest you should have cleaned up your mess before you left"

    Grow some and stop moaning - you are adult enough to rent a room, so act like a grown up now and sort it out!
