I wonder about the Queen; clearly she must fart but I wonder how she picks her moments.Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End
You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time0 -
No!! Fart in the loo, PLEASE. Letting one off when there's other people around you is disgusting!0

For the first 6 months my hubby and I were dating, I held them in until he'd gone home. Once he moved in, it was a different story. I used to go to the toilet to fart about 10 times an evening and he finally asked me if there was something wrong with my bladder. I thought to myself "I can't keep this up forever. He'll think I'm weird". So I just gave in. I'm now better at it than him! I can fart in tune.0

I usually turn on the radio and nip to the loo to relieve myself :rotfl:
The worst thing is when I'm in need and he says he is leaving, so I start to relax and then he stands chatting at the door for 5 minutes (letting all my heat out!) and I end up in agony!!Some people see the glass half full, others see the glass half empty - the enlightened are simply grateful to have a glass0 -

I use to feel the same. My big sis was highly proud of her tuneful efforts and I used to be horrified. When I gave birth I can't begin to tell you how terrified I was of accidentally letting one slip out!!
However my daughter turned out to take after her Auntie, so I decided if you can't beat em .........
I have to say though, I haven't known my son to do it since he was very small, so although my daughter corrupted me, we had no effect on himSome people see the glass half full, others see the glass half empty - the enlightened are simply grateful to have a glass0 -
hmmmm reminds me of something a lad once wrote in my autograph book (anyone else old enough to remember when we all had those???) He wrote "here sits I, broken hearted - paid a penny - only farted"!!!! :eeek:
My mum made me tear that page out!!! (think I was 9 or 10!)0 -
1) My SIL used to ask "if I was on farting terms with my boyfriend " in days when I was young free and single
2) Apparently my FIL has NEVER heard my MIL fart in all their years of marriage and they celebrate 50 years this year!Life is like a bath, the longer you are in it the more wrinkly you become.0 -
I hardly ever burp, but when it comes to flatulence...
I dont do it in work but I really do end up with terrible stomach ache some days from holding it in. I try to go to the loo to relieve myself but usually by the time I get there the urge has gone.
I have no probs doing it in front of OH, in fact id probably burst if I didnt.
When pregnant with DS2 im convinced the constant clenching contributed to my super dooper pelvic floor strength.
It does freak me out that smelling a fart is basically sucking in other peoples poo particles, but theres not really much that can be done.
My mate is terrible for doing SBDs on nights out, you can always tell by the smell theyre hers. At least before the smoking ban the smoke used to mask the smell of everybody's beer farts. That, combined with the loud music meant everyone could just pump away without a care.0 -

It's not so much the trumpeting, it's the smell that bothers me _pale_ I have to open the windows if someone's let one off, lol.0
