    Morning :hello:

My new washing machine arrived on wednesday, I removed most of the packaging then stood there wondering how I was going to get rid of the polystyrene on the bottom. I ended up leaning it back while kicking the polystyrene apart :D I got it up and running before lunch.

We're getting 5-6 eggs per day from the girls, sales are up again :T

Master tru has been signed off work for 10 days, he sliced his thumb open with a stanley knife. Actually, it was more of an attempt at filleting than slicing :D He rang to say he was in A&E, he was in Birmingham so I couldn't go in and sit with him – he was so bored – so had to wait for updates by text. 11 stitches later he was OK but a bit spaced out from the painkillers.

Hester when I priced my cards, I worked out how much each card cost me, how many I could make in an hour, and what I wanted to earn per hour. If I did that with crochet, they would never sell because they'd be so expensive. Maybe find a cheaper supplier, forget the hourly rate and just add a bit on top of your costs? Have a look at ebay, etsy, etc to see what the prices are.

Not much going on here. Still ignoring mr tru, crocheting owls and wondering how to get a huge slice of Hallmark's market :rotfl:

    That's good about your Hens,

My 5 hens are doing about 3-4 eggs a day at the moment . But there has been a few day's were We have only had 2 eggs.

Thank you for the concern x

The nero center were I go for my brain, They do disk OP's there.

Last time I went In for an OP I spoke to a bloke that was having one of his removed.

From what I can remember, There are a few large Risks with have them done.
Make sure that you find everything out before you decide to have anything done.,
Ask the Questions, Have a look online too, Find info out and then ask the doctor about it, So you know the have the right answers.

Most OP's do go to plan so there should be nothing to worry about:A

But I always believe in finding out all there is too know.

    Hi all,
All's well in the Sunshine Island, It's shining like mad today though the wind cuts through you like a knife.
Finished writing up my Sunday morning church service, except for the bits I have to say. Fortunately I'm never lost for a word or two and can rabbit on without any problem.
Today I have to do puddings for Open Arms, bake a couple of cakes for a funeral on Monday. Very old lady died - no family left - but she asked one of her friends' children to organise some refreshments after the service. There probably won't be more than a dozen people there, if that, so I think a few sandwiches and some cake and maybe some mini quiches and crisps will probably do. Even then I reckon I'll have a lot left over. Think I'll provide doggy bags so those who have a longish journey can take the left overs with them.
Then the only thing left to do is some ironing. Oh! and taking up some trousers for one of our OA clients. He found some in a CS but they were about 4 inches too long so stupid here voluteered to take them up.
Don't know what we'll be eating, whatever I find lurking in the fridge I guess. I fancy making some scones for tea. I have some absolutely yummy Strawberry preserve with Champagne that I am rationing out to make it last longer.

HH: You never get what you deserve for HM things. I get cross if I make a cake for a sale and see that something that cost £2 or £3 to make is offered for sale at £1. I think that I might as well have saved myself the work and given them the money.
For knitted and crocheted things I take the view that if the wool is free or very cheap, and I have enjoyed knitting while I watch telly then anything is better than nothing.

Molly: Ouch! that sounds nasty. Try not to push yourself too hard. Rest as much as possible.

Halight: I'm surprised that you're surprised. I thought it was generally accepted that we ALL had a crush on you, even those of us old enough to know better. Tut! Tut! man. Here is your posse of eager stalkers and groupies with their tongues hanging out and you pretend that you are unaware of your magnetic charm and charisma. Tschk!

    See you all on Monday.

Had to go to the market and pick up a prescription this morning, got back an hour ago and I am still frozen, the wind is bitter and cuts right through to the bone animated-smileys-winter-012.gifI don't think that winter is over by any stretch of the imagination.

Having a keep busy day because it is 27 years since my Dad died and I still miss him.

I have washing on the line and even though it is windy I am not sure if it will dry much.

monnagran, you're busier than a busy mam of two!

Butterfly Brain It's 23 years since I lost my dad and I feel it too. It never goes does it.

Off I go a walkies along the river. Wrap up like a fish supper. It is really cold out there isn't it? A glass sheet of ice on the windscreen of the car this morning. Must have been cold over night.

I got home about 9pm yesterday after my ladies who lunch afternoon, and not only were DD and her boyfriend looking at their watches and making faces, my mum had been on the phone looking for me! And I was flipping sober.....not usual on one of these days but never mind!!!
I'm not long up:o, however think the food was too rich for me yesterday so the IBS has been annoying me since 11pm yesterday, still not right, so thought what have I got to get up for anyway and stayed in bed with my kindle. WM finally on with dark load of kids work clothes and will head to the shops to find something for today and tomorrows dinners.
