Morning all
Not getting much time to post during the week at the moment, work is keeping me plenty busy! Luckily all the major deadlines are here soon, so things will start to quiet down again :-)
Productive morning here, baking for the week almost done - biscuits, bread, and the cakes are in the oven now. Can't wait for next weekend and my new-to-me freezer arriving, I can start getting properly ahead of myself again then. I keep trying to get my landlord to deal with the freezer thats already here, but because it has intermittent faults, he's managed to only see it when its actually freezing - normally just after I've had to bin a load of stuff :-(
Washing is on, hoping to get caught up today, ready for what's already looking kike a busy week, booked up with after schools, catch up sessions, and dreaded parents evenings...
Have a good weekend everyone,

Hi
Thank you so much for all your help, I didn't think to look on FB, & couldn't find many on ebay, I'm rubbish at searching.
Tru, most of the wool I use is given to me or from charity shops, I only pay full price if I can't find a colour I need to finish off a blanket. Like you if I charged the minimum wage for my time it would work out way too expensive.
Moorhen, I shall put them on my blog & on FB, if I build up a big enough stock I may take a stall at my DGC's school fete but this would be a sort of advert as they don't get many people attending.
Thank you fuddle for the info, thank you DG & BB for the links.
RR, I can add crochet flowers but not sure how to personalise, I'll look in to it. I am hoping to appeal to the 'My grandma made me one when I was a baby' market, a touch of nostalgia maybe.
I was hoping to charge about £7-£10 & this looks feasible. I'm not expecting to make a fortune from these but a liitle money would be nice.
I was given a bag of wool yesterday by a work colleague, a lot of it is part balls of eyelash, I cant' crochet with it, so will knit some stripey scarves.
Thanks for all the help.
Hugs Hester

Morning all,
Nice clear and bright here too. Dh is planning on gardening today and I may join him later. We managed to pick up some seeds from Range at 10p a packet :T including veg and bedding plantsso some can be sown in the warm on the windowsill. Planted lots of lovely tulips in Autumn and they are just poking their heads through. I adore tulips my favourite, well spring flowers in general.
I am nipping to Ww to get weighed this morning then a clean and tidy through and a couple of wash loads but it seems too cold to dry outside. May give it a try though.
Feeling much calmer about our financial situation. It hasn't changed but at least we now have a plan. I feel I can see a way forward, and have had lots of help from the DMP support thread, especially TTFTM who has been wonderful. Thanks for all your lovely hugs and kind thoughts, its really helped so much:)
Anyway off to see what the scales say. Have a good Saturday J xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.
Working hard to get rid of our debt.0 -
Good morning everyone

It's lovely and sunny here and one load of washing is out already and the machine is on again.
DH is already busy marking but he has passed today's target and there is just a week to go now. I don't really like him doing it, as I think he works hard enough in the day but the money is fantastic to put towards debts and every penny will go to greedy M&S.
I am following Julie's idea of planting seeds today and am off to clear the kitchen window ledge which is still decorated with jugs and candles from Christmas. I found out one of the jugs is rare and collectable, even though I bought it from charity shop for 99p, so it may make an appearance on ebay later. I will get my collection of hyacinth/crocus vases down from on top of a bookcase and check those out too. Planting or selling? Hmmm!
Well wishes to all sick people and pets and hugs for those who need or just want them. Keep warm and safe and have a super day

Good Morning x
Just catching up with all your news - hugs x
I have had an eventful 4 days. I went to a knitting group on Tuesday and sat for a long time in an awkward position. I ended up on Wednesday morning not able to move or to pee:eek::eek: Was taken to hospital in an ambulance and found that another of my discs had prolapsed. Feeling better now though but just another thing to contend with:eek::eek::eek:
So very quiet day for me but that's ok.
Fuddle - nice to see you on this thread. As I said earlier we are a very friendly bunch and don't stand for any nonsense as many of us have very difficult circumstances to deal with. Never in my whole life have I met such a friendly and supportive group of people and I am honoured to be able to call them my on-line friends xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -

Waiting for OH's mum to pick me up - off to Milton Keynes to have a look round, and hopefully get my phone fixed as it decides to switch itself off and tell me it has no battery when I know it's at 100%!

Halight I'm sorry, my main crush is Ewan McGregor!
Well, after a really tiring day at work, I had a completely un-interrupted nights sleep. I usually wake up at around 12.30am and 3am, but managed to sleep straight through to 6am, which is good for me. I'm not good in the mornings, so was happy to doze to 8am.
We've been out to the shops to get a couple of bits we needed.
I've changed the bed, and the sheets are in the WM. have some ironing to do, and then it'll be eBaying this afternoon.
I'll also be doing some online banking, we are opening an ISA each.
Lunch will be egg and chips, so that'll be quick.
Have a good dayEarly retired - 18th December 2014
